2 Safety instructions
2.1 General safety
zNever pull the power plug out of the socket by the cable.
zIf the cable is damaged, it must be replaced to prevent possible electrical
hazards.
zDo not operate the appliance if it is visibly damaged.
zThis appliance may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Inadequate
repairs can lead to considerable hazards.
zDisconnect the device from the mains:
– Before cleaning and maintenance
– After use
zEnsure that the ventilation slots are not covered.
zElectronic devices are not toys.
Keep electrical appliances out of reach of children or infirm persons. Do
not let them use the appliances without supervision.
zPersons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capabili-
ties or lack of experience and knowledge prevents them from using the
appliance safely should not use this appliance without initial supervision
or instruction by a responsible person.

2.2 Operating the appliance safely
zBefore starting the appliance, ensure that the power supply line and the
plug are dry.
zNever start the device when your hands are wet.
zDo not operate the device on hot surfaces.
zNever place the device near naked flames.
zMake sure no liquid drips into the openings on the cooler, for example
when you change the keg or wine bag.
zNever immerse the device in water.
zProtect the appliance and the cable against heat and moisture.
zThe manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage resulting from
improper usage or incorrect operation.
2.3 Safety precautions when handling drink containers
zPlease observe the instructions and safety information on the keg or on
the wine bag.
zOnce opened, leave the keg or wine bag in the cooler so that the drink re-
mains cold.
zNever keep beer kegs or wine bags in the freezer because the keg or wine
bag will be damaged when the liquid freezes.
zWhen you buy a keg of beer or bag of wine, always check the best before
date.
zNote that the beer and wine cooler does not mean the contents keep
longer.
Special instructions concerning beer kegs:
zNever shake the keg.
zDo not expose beer kegs to direct sunlight or temperatures above 30 °C,
as there is a risk of explosion.
zNew, unopened beer kegs keep best at a steady temperature of 3 °C to
8°C.

5 Technical description
5.1 Function
The appliance is a compact tabletop device. It can keep beer kegs and wine
bags cool at a temperature of +3 °C to +18 °C (depending on the outside
temperature and the selected cooling level).
You can use the sliding switch to select the perfect temperature for white
wine, red wine and beer.
When less cooling is required, the fan can be set to a low level and the cooler
runs quietly.
We recommend cooling the kegs and wine bags beforehand and keeping
them cold in the beer and wine cooler.
The appliance usually runs on the 100–240 V AC mains. With the 12 V cable
available as an accessory you can run it from a 12 V supply such as a ciga-
rette lighter.
Its cooling system is a non-wearing Peltier cooling system with the heat dis-
charged by a fan.
5.2 Control elements
