Use the iron only for its intended use.
To protect against the risk of electric
shock, do not immerse the iron in water
or other liquids.
The iron should always be turned to MIN
before plugging or unplugging from
outlet. Never yank
cord from the outlet to disconnect;
instead, grasp plug and pull to
disconnect.
Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
Let iron cool completely before putting it
away. Cover the iron when stored and
loop the cord around iron.
Always disconnect iron from electrical
outlet when filling with water or emptying
and when not in use.
Do not operate iron with a damaged
cord or if the iron has been dropped or
damaged. To avoid the
risk of electric shock, do not
disassemble the iron, visit your nearest
qualified service center for
examination and repair. Incorrect
reassembly can cause a risk of electric
shock when the iron is used.
Close supervision is necessary for any
appliance being used by or near

children. Do not leave iron unattended
while connected or on an ironing board.
Burns can occur from touching hot
metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use
caution when you turn a
steam iron upside down – there may be
hot water in the water tank.
All repair work should be carried out by
an approved service center.
Push steam button a few times and
lightly shake iron after use to ensure all
water is drained. The remaining moisture
will evaporate if you plug in the cord and
heat iron for a few moments.
To avoid a circuit overload, do not
operate an iron on the same circuit with
another high wattage appliance.
If an extension cord is absolutely
necessary, a cord with an ampere rating
equal to or greater than the maximum
rating of the iron shall be used. A cord
rate for less amperage can result in a
risk of fire or electric shock due to
overheating.
The iron must be used and rested on a
stable surface.

To do this, fill water (using the supplied measuring cup) up to “MAX” line into the iron. Clean
steam vents by using “Self Clean” system. (See using the Self Clean Button)
When finished, wipe the soleplate with an old cloth. Cotton swabs may be used to clean and
dry the steam vents. Your iron now should be ready for use.

FILLING WITH WATER
1. Unplug the iron.
2. Flip the water fill cover open.
3. Lift the iron till the water fill cover is about vertical.
4. Pour slowly, to avoid airlocks.
5. Don’t fill past max, or water will escape in use.
6. Close the cover, and wipe up any spillage.
Plug in the iron. The indicator light illuminates. Once the iron reaches the selected tempera-
ture, the light goes off , you may then start using your iron.
The indicator light will illuminate and go off regularly during ironing as an indication that the
temp control/thermostat is working properly.
IRONING TIPS
1. Sort the articles to be ironed according to the fabric. Ironing instructions are usually
stitched onto an inside seam of the garment and these should be followed at all the times.
Start your ironing with the fabrics requiring the lowest heat setting.
2. If you are unsure of the fiber content of a garment, test a small area (a seam or inside
hem) before ironing.
3. When in doubt, start with low heat. If wrinkles remain, gradually increase heat to find the
best setting for good results without damaging the fabric.
4Instruction Manual
Before using for the first time, check if the voltage rating on the base plate corresponds to
the electric voltage in your home.
Remove Storage Cover, sticker or any protective wrappings from the soleplate.
It’s necessary to completely remove all residues of the polishing compound used on the
soleplate of your iron which may have become trapped in the steam vents.
Some parts of the iron have been slightly greased and as a result the iron may smoke
slightly when switched on for the first time. After a short while, however, this will cease.
Normal tap water can usually be used for ironing. But if you live in a hard water area, to
insure optimum performance of your iron, we recommend to use distilled water.

USING AS A STEAM IRON
1. Fill the water tank as described above.
2. Stand the appliance on its bottom cover.
3. Plug the appliance in and switch on.
4. Set the temperature control knob to the steam position and the indicator light will
illuminate.
5. In this setting, the iron can be used as a steam iron when the indicator light goes out. The
light will illuminate and go out regularly during ironing as a indication that the temperature
control is working properly.
6. Turn the Steam Control knob to the Steam position (as below picture) will create steam.
Turn the Steam Control knob to the position 0, the steam will cease.
7. When finished ironing, please turn the temperature
control to “min” position and turn the steam control
knob to “0” position, and unplug.
USING AS A DRY IRON
1. Stand the iron on the bottom cover, then plug the iron in.
2. Turn the Steam Control knob to “0”.
3. Adjust the temperature control knob to the proper temperature.
When the indicator light goes out, it indicates the iron has reached the required temperature.
USING THE STEAM BURST BUTTON
Be sure there is water in the tank and the iron is on a high temperature setting.
1. Using the iron Horizontally
Lift the iron and press the steam burst button. You may need to press the button few times
after filling with water to activate the pump. The burst steam facility can be used only while
ironing with high ironing temperature (from to / Max).
2. Using the iron Vertically
The burst function can be also used when the iron is held in vertical position to remove
creases from hanging clothes, curtains, etc…
USING THE SPRAY BUTTON
As long as there is enough water in the water tank, you may use spray button at any
temperature setting either on Steam or Dry ironing. Press the button several times to activate
the pump while you are ironing.

Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Avoid ironing over zippers, rivets on jeans, etc., as they will scratch the soleplate. Iron
around them instead. Keep the iron soleplate smooth.
2. Water and its minerals vary widely by geographic location. If you live in a hard water area,
to insure optimum performance of your iron, we strongly recommend the use of distilled
water which is readily available in retail stores.
3. Do not disassemble or repair your iron yourself.
USING THE SELF-CLEAN FUNCTION
1. It is important to apply “self-clean” function at the first time of using the iron then at least
once per month to remove scale etc.
2. Fill the water up to “MAX” line in water tank.
3. Insert the plug into the wall socket.
4. Set the Temperature Control knob to Max.
5. Allow the iron to heat up until the heating light goes out.
6. Remove the plug from the wall socket.
7. Keep the iron horizontally over the sink.
8. Turn the Steam control knob to self-clean position
Hold the gear on self clean position.
The boiling water and steam will come out from the vents in the soleplate. Impurities and
scale (if any) are washed away.
9. Move the iron forwards and backwards while this happens.
10. Release the steam control knob when all water is used up.
11. Stand the iron upright then insert the plug into the wall socket and heat up the iron.
12. Carefully dry soleplate by ironing over a towel or old cloth to ensure there is no remainder
of the water inside the steam chamber.
13. Do not use chemically descaled water.
14. Let iron cool completely before storing.
ANTI-DRIP FEATURE
The Anti-Drip function ensures that the iron will not drip water at low temperature after
steaming. Steaming will recommence as soon as the appropriate temperature has been
reached.

TO EMPTY AND STORE
Be sure the iron is unplugged first. Pour out any remaining water by shaking the iron.
Make it a habit to empty the iron after each use.
After emptying the water tank, keep the hot iron in an upright position, so that any moisture
remaining will evaporate quickly. Let iron cool completely before storing.
