LOCATION AND FUNCTIONS OF CONTROLS
1. LCD display Displays the phone number, date and time and other information.
2. + Key can store one phone number for speed dialing
3. P Key can store one phone number for speed dialing
4. Emergency Key can store emergency phone number as for speed dialing
5. CLID en Review caller ID’s. Also can be uses within the menu to select telephone
settings
6. Del/Set a. Press and hold for 3 seconds to bring up setup menu (In on-hook
status)
b. Press to delete or edit the telephone number when editing phone book
or viewing call ID’s.
7. Call Back/Clock a. Press to dial the stored number when viewing caller ID’s or phone book
b. Press and hold for 3 seconds to set alarm
8. Redial/Pause a. Press repeatedly to review the outgoing numbers (on-hook)
b. Press to dial the last number (off-hook)
c. Press for a break off 1,2/2.4/3.6 seconds

INSTALLATION
1. Open the battery compartment cover and load 4 AA batteries (not included).
2. Connect one end of coil cord to the handset jack and connect the other end to the jack of
the base unit.
3. Plug one end of phone line to line jack in the base unit and connect the other end to the
wall jack
NOTE
1. The phone works well with the line power alone. Batteries are only needed for the clock to
function.
2. Use only the following type and size batteries: AA cellUm3. The proper polarity or
direction must be observed.
3. Please change your batteries every 6 months
4. All batteries should be changed at once.
5. Please pull out the line cord before replacing batteries

QUICK OPERATION GUIDE
1. Make a call:
a. Pick up the handset or

2. Answer a call:

4. Redial:
a. On-hook; press repeatedly to review dialed numbers, then pick up
the handset or press or press

8. Delete caller ID:
a. On-hook; press -> select a call -> press

FUNCTION SETUP
1. Set the language:

In on-hook status, pres and hold for 3 seconds to enter LANGUAGE SET UP.
Press to select the language. Press to conf rm.
2. Set the contrast:
After sett ng LANGUAGE, press to select the contrast (1-5). Press to
conf rm.
3. Set Year, Date and T me:
After sett ng the LCD contrast, the d g ts of the year w ll flash. Press to select
the year, press to conf rm. The d g ts of the month w ll flash, press to
select the month and press to conf rm. Perform the same approach to set DATE
and TIME.
4. Set local code:
After sett ng the YEAR, DATE and TIME, the f rs t d g t of LOCAL AREA CODE w ll flash,
press to select the d g t and press to conf rm.If you set an area code,
ex. 248-1234567, when you rece ve a telephone number w th area code 248, only
1234567 w ll show on the LCD.
5. Set Pref x Codes:
After sett ng the LOCAL CODE , the f rst of the three codes w ll flash. Press to
select d g t and press to save the select on. Use the same method to cont nue
sett ng each code.
6. Set the r ng melod es:
After sett ng the PREFIX CODE, press to select the melody (1-16) and press
to conf rm.
7. Set the r ng volume:
After sett ng the RING MELODIES, press to select the r ng volume (1-8). Press
to conf rm.
8. Set Flash t me:
After sett ng the RING VOLUME, press to select the flash t me (100ms, 200 ms,
300 ms, 400 ms, 600 ms, 900 ms and press to conf rm.
9. Set Pauze t me:
After sett ng FLASH TIME, press to select the pauze t me (1.2s, 2.4s, 3.6s) and
press to conf rm.
10. Set DTMF or Pulse mode:
After sett ng PAUZE TIME, press to select the mode (DTMF or PULSE) and
press to conf rm and complete the whole sett ng.

OPERATION
1. Make a call:
P ck up the handset or press to get d al tone and d al the number. Use to ed t
the number. When the called party answers the phone, the LCS w ll t me the call
automat cally.
2. Answer a call:
P ck up the handset or press to answer the call.
3. End a call:
Hang up the handset or press to end the call.
4. Sw tch talk mode from handset to speakerphone:
press and then hang up the handset to talk through the speakerphone.
5. Sw tch talk mode from speakerphone to handset:
P ck up the handset and the talk mode w ll sw tch to handset automat cally.
6. Hold:
Press and the call w ll be held. The handset can be hung up.
7. Hold release:
p ck up the handset of press or press button aga n to release a call.
8. Flash:
Th s funct on s ma nly for PBX systems, t only works wh le call wa t ng sevc e s prov ded
by your local phone company.
a. Press for call wa t ng serv ce from your phone company
b. Press to transfer the call to another extens on f the phone runs on a PBX
system.
9. Pre-d al:
In on-hook status; d al the phone number and then p ck up the handset, the number w ll
be da led out automat cally.
10. Pauze:
Press for a break of 1.2/2.4/3.6 seconds.
11. Red al:
a. In on-hook status, press repeatedly to rev ew the last 16 da led
numbers, choose des red number and p ck up the handset op press to d al
out automat cally.
b. In off-hook status, press to d al the last number.
12. Auto Red al:
In on-hook status, press to auto red al the last d aled number repeatedly
unt l the phone s answered.
13. 3 sets of one-touch emergency speed d al:
a. Store: In on-hook status, enter phone number, press and then press +
(or P or EMERGENCY) to ass gn preferred speed d al buttons, press # to complete
the sett ng.
b. D al: D mply cl ck on + (or P or EMERGENCY) butten, whether t s on-hok of off-hook.
14. 5 sets speakerphone auto answer ng
In on-hook status; enter phone number, press an the press 1 (2 to 5) to
store auto answer ng numbers, press # to complete the sett ng.
15. Alarm:

a. Set alarm: press for 3 seconds the enter alarm set-up. Press to set
hour, press to conf rm and press to set m nute, press to
complete the sett ng.
b. Press to turn alarm on or off.
REMARK
The ST-100 has a bu ld n T-co l n the handset. In order to use make a call w th the T-co l, put
the hear ng a d n T-pos t on and hold the speakerpart of the handset beh nd the hear ng-a d.
CALLER ID
1. Caller ID rev ew:
In on-hook status, press to rev ew the callers phone number and call n t me.
2. Delete caller ID:
a. When check ng ncom ng calls, press to search the call you would l ke to
delete. Press once qu ckly to delete a s ngle call.
b. When check ng ncom ng calls, press for 3 seconds to delete all calls.
3. Call back from the caller ID:
In on-hook status, press to select the call you w sh to d al from the caller Ids,
press or or p ck up the handset to d al out.
PHONE BOOK
1. Store phone numbers:
In on-hook status, press , and the LCD w ll d splay
a. Press to add new nformat on, enter the name and then press to access
the telephone number nput page; enter the telephone number, press to complete.
b. Perform the same approach to store more names and numbers to a max mum
capac ty of 80. Once reach ng 80, MEMORY FULL w ll d splay on LCD.
2. Rev ew phone book:
a. Press to enter the phone book page. Press and LCD w ll d splay “PLS
Input Name”. Enter the name to v ew the telephone number.
b. Press to v ew the phone book.
c. Alphabet cal search ng s supported. Enter a letter to v ew the phone book by the f rst
letter of the name.
3. Delete:
When v ew ng caller nformat on n phone book, press and hold dur ng 3 seconds
to delete the name and number.
4. D al from phone book:
a. In on-hook status, search ng des red number n phone book, press or or
p ck up the handset to d al out automat cally.
b. In off-hook status, search ng des red number n phone book, press to make
a call and speak through handset.
