User Instructions
1. INTRODUCTION
The Dolphin Service Kit is an analysis tool that enables technicians to quickly perform remote
diagnostics and repairs on their customers' 2015 new line of Dolphin robots. This enables you to offer a
valued service to your customers and save them hours or even days of waiting for their Dolphin to get
back to cleaning their pool.

3. TESTING PROCEDURE
3.1 Testing the Power Supply
Connect the tester to the power supply.
3.1.1
Switch the power supply on.
3.1.2
If the tester light is on ( ), proceed to test
the cable.
3.1.3
If the tester light is off

socket and AC cable.
If they are working, then replace the power supply
and proceed to test the cable.

Remove the cable from the motor unit,
and unplug the cable.

Connect the cable to the power supply (1)
and tester (2).

Switch the power supply on.
If the tester light is on ( ), proceed to test the
terminal.

If the tester light is off ( ), repair or replace
the cable.

3.2 Testing the Cable
Unscrew the two screws holding the front
top cover in place, and remove the cover.
Note: Some models may differ slightly in shape,
color, etc.

Open the clip that holds the cable in place
and remove the cable.

3.3 Testing the Motor Unit Terminal
If there is water and corrosion in the motor unit terminal, then continue to step 3.3.1.
Clean the terminal with air pressure
(cover it with paper to prevent dirt from getting
into your eyes). Put alcohol inside the terminal
and wait for a few minutes.
3.3.1
Clean inside the terminal using a paint
brush attached to an electric screw driver.
3.3.2
Clean the terminal again using air pressure
(cover it with paper to prevent dirt from getting
into your eyes).
3.3.3
The terminal is now clean.
Note: If the terminal is not yet clean, repeat the
process and replace the retrofit connectors and
seals (P.N 9991273).

Check if the motor unit terminal is clean and dry. If yes, then skip to Step 4.

4. TECHAPP ACCESSING PARAMETERS AND ERRORS
4.1 Initial Login
Connect the power supply to the robot with 3-wire cable and the AC cable to the main supply

Download the DolphinTech™ app from the App Store or Google Play.
4.1.2
Log into the app with your support center
login details.
Note: If you don't have support center login
details, contact the Maytronics technical team.

Select the relevant robot.

1. Due to tracks and brushes movement – turn the robot upside down before connecting it to the
power supply and to the main supply.
2. Press the Parameters button to access the parameters and errors.
3. The following message is displayed: You are about to turn on the robot. Are you sure?
Press OK to turn on the robot.
4. The Parameter log screen will be displayed. Use the fault description displayed on the screen to
assess the problem (use Appendix for information about the fault description).
Note: You can also share and refresh the log file as required.

5.2 More Menu Options - Application Features
Power Supply Settings
Use this option to define the power supply settings
by selecting them and clicking Apply.
This option is available when the application is
ON and OFF.
Note: While selecting the power supply settings make sure to click the correct settings that are
relevant to the specific model.
Manual Navigation
You can use the Manual Navigation to manually maneuver your Dolphin into
specific areas and corners of your pool, by dragging the handle in the desired
directions. In this way, you can quickly and efficiently clean hard-to-reach spots.
You can also switch to Tilt mode for a more playful and realistic experience, and
maneuver your Dolphin by tilting the smartphone in various angles.
This option is only available when the application is ON.
Weekly Timer
You can use the MyDolphin™ app to set the weekly timer on your Dolphin
robotic pool cleaner. This unique planning system enables you to create a
personalized cleaning schedule for your Dolphin (per day and hour). You can set
it for one week ahead.
This option is available when the application is ON and OFF.
