Thismanualisanintegralpartoftheawningandisintendedforitsuser.Itisanessentialtoolforproperuseand
maintenanceoftheproduct.Itisprohibitedtoremove,rewriteorinanywaymodifythepagesofthemanualand
theircontent.
Thismanualmustbekeptcompleteinallitspartsinaneasilyaccessibleplaceuntildisposaloftheawning.
Ifthemanualislostordestroyed,theclientmustrequestanewcopy,providingthemainproductdataandthe
destinationofthenewcopy.

closingtheawning.Itcomprisesaboxforfullretractionoftheunit(B-Fig.1),acassetteprole(C-Fig.
1),mechanicalextensiblearms(D-Fig.1)equippedwithsheathedwiresorastainlesssteelchainanda
rewindertube.

Thefunctionoftheawningistoprotectagainstsunlightandtocontrolreverberationinthespaceunderitsloca-
tion.Theproduct,withpre-xedinstallation,isintendedexclusivelyforupanddownmovementofthefabric,for
reachingandremaininginpositionsofmaximumopeningandclosingandpossiblyintermediateones.
Theawningmustonlybeusedasdescribedabove,evenifpackagedinwaterproofcanvasesorinPVC.The
awningmaybeusedbynon-professionaloperatorsprovidedtheyare

Thetechnicalnameplate,whichprovidesthemaindataandfeaturesoftheproduct,isgenerallysupplied
withthecommercialdocumentation.
Shippingandhandlingaretheresponsibilityofthedealerand/orthemanufacturer,whoshallshiptheproduct
usingpackagingthatprotectstheproductproperlyuntilitisdeliveredtotheclient.
The packaging materials must be disposed of and/or recycled in compliance with current standards in the
countryinwhichtheproductistobeused.
All instructions and the main safety standards to perform these operations are described in the “Assembly
Manual”andinthe“Installer’sManual”.
Thepositionselectedbytheuserforinstallationoftheproductmustensuresufcientrangeandthespaceto
opentheawningtoitsfullextension(see“Installer’smanual”).

Thecanvasmustbecleanedtopreventtheformationofmouldcausedbydustandothermaterialsdepositedon
thecanvas.Itcanbeperformedusingavacuumcleaner,orwithadampspongeorclothandlukewarmwater.
Leavethecanvastodryaftercleaning.
Cleaningwithladders,scaffoldingandsoforthistobeperformedonlybyspecializedpersonnel.Theymust
complywithsafetystandardsandusepersonalprotectiveequipmentsuchassafetyharnesseswithropes.
Theoperationsdescribedhereunder,ifperformedasscheduled,willkeeptheproductingoodcondition.
Thecanvasmustbeinspectedfortearsorbreaksinthestitching.Dothisinthespring,priortosummeruse,and
intheautumn,priortowinterclosing.
Lubricatemovingpartswithsiliconlubricatingoil,withtheawningabouthalfwayopen:
▪ Ifthearmsareequippedwiththem,lubricatethechain,theswivel(A-Fig.3)andtheshoulder(B-Fig.4).
