IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic
precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of re, electric shock, and
injury to persons, including the following:
Read all instructions before using this heater.
This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do
not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use
handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible
materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding,
papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m)
from the front of the heater and keep them away from
the sides and rear.
Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is
used by or near children or invalids and whenever the
unit is left operating and unattended.
Always unplug heater when not in use.
Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord
or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been
dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater,
or return to authorized service facility for examination
and/or repair.
Do not use outdoors.

This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms,
laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never
locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other
water container.
Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings
of a batch, a shower or a swimming pool.
Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord
with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do
not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange
cord away from trafc area and where it will not be
tripped over.
To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, and then
remove plug from outlet.
Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any
ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an
electric shock or re, or damage the heater.
To prevent a possible re, do not block air intakes or
exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces,
like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
All electric heaters have hot and arcing or sparking
parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline,
paint, or ammable vapours or liquids are used or
stored.
Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any
other use not recommended by the manufacturer
may cause re, electric shock, or injury to persons.
Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/
receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or
relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away
unless continuously supervised.

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years
shall only switch on/off the appliance provided
that is has been placed or installed in its intended
normal operating position and they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children aged 3 years and less
than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the
appliance or perform user maintenance.
CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become
very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to
be given where children and vulnerable people are
present.
The appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children unless they are older than 8 years and
supervised.
If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied
persons in order to avoid a hazard.

power switch to the OFF position. Then remove the

WARNING: Do not use this replace if any part of it
has been under water. Immediately call a qualied
service technician to inspect the replace and
replace any part of the electrical system.
WARNING: Disconnect power before attempting any
maintenance or cleaning to reduce the risk of re,
electrical shock or personal injury.

Quick Reference Guide
1. Prior to the rst use of the Sub-Compact Stove
verify the following: Are the circuit breakers for the
unit on?
2. The heater on your Sub-Compact Stove may emit
a slight, harmless odour when rst used. This
odour is a normal condition caused by the initial
heating of internal heater parts and will not occur
again.
3. If you have any technical questions or concerns
regarding the operation of your Sub- Compact
Stove, or require service contact Customer
Service at before returning the product to the point
of purchase
FIREPLACE INSTALLATION
NOTE: A 16 Amp, 230 Volt alternating
current (VAC) circuit is required. A dedicated
circuit is preferred but not essential in all cases.
A dedicated circuit will be required if, after
installation, the circuit breaker trips or blows fuses
on a regular basis when the heater is operating.
Additional appliances on the same circuit may
exceed the current rating of the circuit breaker.
WARNING: Ensure the power cord is not
installed so that it is pinched or against a sharp
edge and ensure that the power cord is stored
or secured to avoid tripping or snagging to
reduce the risk of re, electric shock or injury
to persons. Construction and electrical wiring
must comply with local building codes and other
applicable regulations to reduce the risk of re,

electric shock and injury to persons. Do not
attempt to wire your own new outlets or circuits.
To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or injury
to persons, always use a licensed electrician.
Installation
1. Make sure the unit’s Main On/Off Switch is
switched Off (refer to operating instruction
section).
2. Plug the unit into a 16 Amp,230 VAC outlet.

Before beginning assembly of product, make
sure all parts are present. Compare parts with
Hardware Included and Package Contents lists. If
any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to
assemble, install or operate the product. Contact
customer service for replacement parts.

1. Ensure the heater is switched off and unplugged,
then turn the heater upside down.
2. Remove the 12 screws body.
3. Align the mounting holes on the foot with the
mounting holes on the heater.
4. Insert the 3 screws and tighten.
5. Repeat these steps for the other feet.
