1 Purpose of this TechNote
This document describes how to replace the dispenser unit of the ProtoMat S64/S014.
This TechNote contains specific warning messages for particular instruction steps. A
detailed documentation for the appropriate system as well as further documentations
for the software used can be found in the system documents. Please note that this
TechNote does not substitute the detailed documentation for your system.

Only qualified electricians are allowed to work on energized parts of the system.

Step 1
Switch on machine
Start CircuitPro
Move the milling head to the middle of the
x-axis
Switch the machine off
Upgrade dispenser S64/ S104
Disassembly dispenser

Step 2
Open the machine hood
Remove the four screws using a Torx
screwdriver T10
Remove the upper head cover.
Remove the five screws using a Torx
screwdriver T10
Disconnect status light
Remove the lower head cover.
Step 3
Open the terminal connection CON 104
on the head pcb with a flat-bladed
screwdriver
Remove the conductors.
Cut the cable ties with the diagonal pliers.

Step 4
Remove the three screws using a Torx
screwdriver T10
Remove the dispenser.
The dispenser is removed.
