2.2.5 Power-up
At power-up the following screen is displayed for 5
seconds indicating the battery status. The remaining
battery lifetime is displayed, with and without the
backlight. When the display changes to the digital
mode, the instrument is ready for use.

3.1 Rotary Switch / Keypad selections
The instrument functions are selected by a rotary switch
and an 8 key keypad. The rotary switch positions are
as follows:

When switching the instrument ON, wait for the auto
calibration, flashing CAL, to finish, before clamping the
