Introduction:
This HDMI extender uses one piece of CAT5e/6 cable to extend the HDMI signal up to 50 meters
for 1080p. It not only breaks the limitation of the HDMI cable transmission length, but also has more
exibility and convenience in cable construction.
It is equipped with a HDMI connector and is capable of supporting DVI equipment when used with an
HDMI to DVI Adapter, providing greater exibility and options when integrating several home theater
components.
Benets:
• The length of HDMI cable is xed and unchangeable after it is produced. Because the HDMI
connector can only be soldered or terminated by the professional workers in factory, the users
can not reduce or increase the length by themselves. However CAT-5e/6 cables are available
everywhere and can be processed easily by the user or installer.
• Because the header of the long HDMI cable is big, using it must be in hidden method. What’s
more, it is not easy to bend the HDMI cable and to pull it through the in-wall tube or tray. However,
CAT-5e/6 cable has no such problems.
• Using this product, the transmission distance can be up to 50 meters for 1080p using CAT6 cable.
For the general HDMI cables, they must be customized when the length is over 10 meters.

Connection and operation:
• Connect the HDMI input source (such as HD-DVD, PS3, STB ) to the transmitter.
• Connect one piece of CAT-5e/6 cable to both of the output of the transmitter and input of the
receiver.
• Connect the output of receiver to display ( such as HD-LCD, HD-DLP)
• Plug one power supply into the transmitter and the other into the receiver.
Attention: insert / extract cable gently.

Einleitung:
Dieser HDMI-Extender nutzt ein CAT5e/CAT6 Netzwerkkabel, um 1080p Signale an einen bis
zu 50 m entfernten HDTV-Bildschirm zu übetragen. Er überwindet nicht nur die Beschränkungen
der Übertragungsreichweite für HDMI-Kabel, sondern hat auch eine exiblere und bequemere
Kabelführung.
Das Gerät ist mit einem HDMI-Anschluss ausgestattet und unterstützt DVI-Geräte, wenn ein Adapter
von HDMI auf DVI benutzt wird. Es liefert größere Flexibilität und Optionen bei der Integration
mehrerer Home Theater-Komponenten.
Vorteile:
• Nachdem ein HDMI-Kabel hergestellt wurde, ist seine Länge nicht veränderbar. Da ein HDMI-
Anschluss nur von Spezialisten im Werk gelötet oder abgeschlossen werden kann, können
Verbraucher die Länge nicht selbst verändern. CAT-5e/6 Kabel sind jedoch überall erhältlich und
können vom Benutzer oder Installateur leicht verarbeitet werden.
• Da der Stecker eines langen HDMI-Kabels recht groß ist, ist ein verstecktes Verlegen nicht ganz
einfach. Es kann auch nicht leicht gebogen oder durch Kabelkanäle gezogen werden. Mit CAT-5e/6
Kabeln gibt es diese Probleme nicht.
• Mit diesem Gerät kann die Übertragungsreichweite mit CAT6 Kabel auf bis zu 50 m für 1080p Signale
verlängert werden. HDMI-Kabel müssen bei Längen von mehr als 10 m speziell angefertigt werden.

Anschluss und Betrieb:
• Schließen Sie die HDMI-Eingangsquelle (HD-DVD-Player, Digitalempfänger usw.) am Sender an.
• Schließen Sie ein CAT-5e/6 Kabel an Senderausgang und Empfängereingang an.
• Schließen Sie den Empfängerausgang am Bildschirm an (HD-LCD, HD-DLP usw.).
• Schließen Sie ein Netzteil am Sender und ein Netzteil am Empfänger an.
Achtung: Kabel vorsichtig anschließen/abziehen.

Introduction :
Ce réémetteur HDMI permet de prolonger le câble via un cable CAT5e ou CAT5e/6 d’une longueur
allant jusqu’à 50 m en signal HDTV. Il dépasse la limite de longueur du câble de transmission HDMI,
et offre plus de exibilité et commodité dans la construction du câble.
Il est équipé d’un connecteur HDMI et peut supporter un équipement DVI s’il est utilisé avec un
adaptateur HDMI vers DVI, offrant ainsi plus de exibilité et plus de possibilités lors de l’intégration de
plusieurs composants cinédom.
Avantages :
• La longueur du câble HDMI reste xe et inchangeable une fois construite. Étant donné qu’un
connecteur HDMI n’est soudé et ni que par des professionnels en usine, les utilisateurs ne
peuvent changer sa longueur eux-mêmes. Cependant, les câbles CAT-5e/6 sont disponibles
partout et peuvent être manipulés par un usager normal ou un installateur.
• C’est parce que la tête du câble HDMI est grande, il est préférable de l’utiliser cachée. En plus, il
n’est pas facile de plier un câble HDMI et de le passer à travers des murs par des tubes. Mais les
câbles CAT-5e/6 ne posent pas de tels problèmes.
• L’utilisation de ce produit, permet de couvrir une distance de transmission allant jusqu’à 50 mètres
pour 1080p via des câbles CAT6. Les câbles HDMI doivent être faits sur mesure si leur longueur
dépasse 10 mètres.
