Safety Informaon
Warning
This is the symbol for indicang any potenal hazard,
risk or condion requiring special aenon.
The user needs to refer to the important operang
and maintenance or servicing instrucons.
Cauon
The lighng ash with an arrow head symbol, in an
equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user.
There is dangerous “voltage” presence near by the
product’s enclosure which may be risk of person.
Safety Precauons
1. Read the user manual carefully before aempng
to install the camera and keep the manual for future
reference.
2. Follow all instrucons.
3. Always keep the glass lens clean to obtain the best
picture quality. Clean only with dry cloth.
4. Do not install near water or heat sources such as
radiators or other apparatus that produce heat.
5. Do not install the camera in places with high humidity.
6. Do not install the camera in places highly exposed to
gas or oil.
7. Do not install the camera in places enclosed by metal.
This may shield the electromagnec waves and cause
signal recepon to fail.
8. Do not touch the camera with wet hands.
9. Do not expose the camera to radioacvity or place
near medical equipment with radio waves.
10. Do not service the camera by yourself. Refer all
servicing to authorized personnel.
11. Always handle the device with care.

Set Up Your Camera Wirelessly Through Your Mobile Devices
To connect the IP camera to the WiFi network, perform the following:
IMPORTANT!
• Make sure the IP camera is powered on.
• Make sure your smartphone/tablet uses WiFi connecon, not mobile data network.
1. Scan the QR code on the IP camera with your smartphone/tablet. You will be directed to KViewLink app
download site.
2. Download and open the KViewLink app in your smartphone/tablet.
3. Tap to add a new IP camera.
4. Tap Skip to skip the introducon and access the connecon page.
5. Tap Smart WiFi.

6. When you hear the ding-dong sound form the IP camera, scan the QR code on the IP camera.

7. Enter the name for the IP camera and tap Connue.
8. Enter the password of the WiFi router and tap OK.
IMPORTANT! Your smartphone/tablet and IP camera must be connected to the same WiFi router.
Wait unl the conguraon is done. When you see the Live view, this indicates the setup is complete.

Congure the IP Camera Using the KViewLink App
To congure the IP camera sengs on KViewLink app, tap next to the IP camera you
want to set up. Then select Advanced Sengs and perform the necessary conguraons.
Congure the IP Camera Using the Web Client
Most funcons of IP camera can be congured through “Advanced Sengs” on KViewLink app. But there are some
funcon sengs, such as DST, image control, DDNS, footage downloading, IP Filter, and etc, are not available on the
KViewLink app. These sengs must be set on the Web Client. Prior accessing the IP camera’s Web Client through your
notebook, make sure the IP camera is connected to the WiFi network and your notebook is connected to the same
WiFi router as your IP camera.

NOTE:
• For more informaon on connecng the IP camera to the WiFi network, please follow the the instrucons wrien in
supplied Quick Guide.
To access the Web Client, perform the following:
1. Download and install the DeviceSearch soware to your notebook.
NOTE: The DeviceSearch soware is available at hp://kguardsecurity.server289.com/kguard/
KguardWEBSite/Ulity/IPcam/PLM00/.
2. Double-click the icon to open the remote tool.
3. The program lists the IP camera by IP address. Click on the IP camera IP address eld to open the IP camera
Web Client on your notebook default web browser.
NOTE: If you need to alter the connecon parameters, do the modicaons rst and then click Modify to
save the sengs.
Log In
1. Enter the user name and password.
2. Click Login to sign in.
NOTE: The default user name and password are “admin”and “123456”.

Live Screen
Aer you login to Web Client, the Live screen opens. On Live screen, you will see the live view from the IP camera,
access the Quick menu and funcons on the Task bar, select a screen mode, and congure local and remote sengs.

To access the common funcons, click the respecve icon shown on the task bar.
• Click to zoom in an area on the video.
• Click to start recording manually. The video recording starts and the icon changes from to . Click the
icon again to stop the manual recording. A dialog box appears on the screen.
The recording is saved to the default locaon in your notebook. To change the video saving locaon, refer to “Local
Sengs” on page 28. To open the recording folder, click “Open”.
• Click to capture a snapshot. A dialog box appears on the screen.

The snapshot is saved to the default locaon in your notebook. To view the snapshot, click “PreView”. To change the
snapshot saving locaon, refer to “Local Sengs” on page 28. To open the snapshot folder, click “Open”.
• Click to mute audio.
• Click to acvate microphone and send your voice to the IP camera.
NOTE: You can talk between the PC and IP camera if an audio device is connected.
Screen Mode
Select the streaming mode between MainStream, SubStream, and MobileStream for the remote live view on
notebook. Modicaons to the streaming mode do not aect the recorded video. You can also choose to display the
remote view in Portrait mode or Full Screen mode.

NOTE: Streaming mode sengs depend on the streaming parameters set in “Video Streaming” on page 19.
Quick Menu
To congure the IP camera breathing, adjust the color sengs, and start using Cruise mode, click the respecve icon
shown in the Quick menu.
• Click to disable the IP camera breathing eect. Click to enable IP camera breathing eect.
• Click to adjust the color sengs of the video.
- Hue ( ): Adjust the red and green balance of the video.
- Brightness ( ): Adjust the brightness level of the video.
- Contrast ( ): Adjust the level of dierence between the lightest and darkest
parts of the video.
- Saturaon ( ): Set the color intensity of the video.
- Sharpness ( ): Adjust the sharpness of the video.
NOTE: Click Default to reset all color sengs to the default values.

• Click to set preset points and use Cruise mode.
To add a preset point, perform the following:
1. Click the direcon arrows on the pointer pan to move the camera to the
desired direcon. 1
2. Click to add the preset point. 2
