NOTA INFORMATIVA
Prima di utilizzare la visiera leggere attentamente le istruzioni, il non attenersi
a quanto esposto potrebbe ridurre la sicurezza offerta dalla visiera. In caso di
incidente con relative lesioni o addirittura decesso dovuti ad un improprio utilizzo
della visiera, il fabbricante e/o il distributore declinano ogni responsabilità.
Questa visiera deve essere utilizzata solo ed esclusivamente per l’attività per cui
è stata certicata. La presente visiera è stata certicata CE per l’uso generale con
elmetti di sicurezza per lavori in quota, arboreo e industria, in conformità allo
standard EN 1731 o EN 166.
La visiera soddisfa i requisiti richiesti dalla normativa ANSI Z87.1.
La visiera non può essere utilizzata singolarmente se non in combinazione con
i modelli di casco ZENITH PL, ZENITH e varianti prodotto ZENITH AIR, ZENITH
BA e ZENITH BA AIR. Questo prodotto non deve essere utilizzato in situazioni
differenti a quelle per le quali è stato concepito (es. rischio elettrico).
La visiera oggetto del presente manuale è un Dispositivo di Protezione
Individuale di 2ª categoria e come tale è stata sottoposta a procedura di
certicazione CE ai sensi dell’articolo 10 della Direttiva europea 89/686/CEE e
successivi emendamenti.
La procedura di certicazione CE è stata effettuata dall’organismo noticato
Certottica Scrl NB 0530.
INFORMAZIONI NORMATIVE
Attenzione: il protettore a rete non protegge dagli spruzzi di metallo fuso, da
particelle roventi, pericoli elettrici, radiazioni infrarosse o raggi ultravioletti. Se
marcati con la lettera S non dovrebbero essere utilizzati in attività con pericolo di
particelle volanti dure o taglienti.
Attenzione: i dispositivi di protezione contro le particelle ad alta velocità
indossati sopra occhiali oftalmici di riferimento, possono trasmettere impatti
potenzialmente pericolosi per l’utilizzatore.
Attenzione: il dispositivo modello ZEN FF protegge da particelle ad alta
velocità a temperature estreme ed è contraddistinto dalla marcatura con la
lettera T immediatamente dopo la lettera dell’impatto.
Se i simboli F, B e A non sono comuni sia alla visiera sia alla montatura, si deve
assegnare il livello inferiore al protettore dell’occhio completo.
ISTRUZIONI DI UTILIZZO
A titolo preventivo è imperativo utilizzare la visiera durante tutto lo svolgimento
dell’attività lavorativa o sportiva. Per un’adeguata protezione, è importante che
la visiera sia ben montata sul casco in modo da offrire la massima sicurezza. La
visiera deve essere regolata per adattarsi all’utilizzatore, deve essere posizionata
in modo tale da ridurre al minimo gli spazi per l’intrusione di eventuali agenti
esterni che potrebbero danneggiare gli occhi.
I protettori coperti dalla presente sono costituiti da materiali ipoallergenici.
Tuttavia alcuni utenti particolarmente sensibili potrebbero presentare delle
reazioni allergiche. In questo caso si consiglia di interromperne l’uso ed,
eventualmente, di consultare il medico.

APPLICAZIONE DELLA VISIERA AL CASCO:
Per l’applicazione utilizzare esclusivamente adattatori e supporti visiera
KASK.
1) Identicare l’adattatore destro e sinistro (riconoscibile tramite la lettera R e L
posta sul retro dell’adattatore) ed inserirli nelle sedi predisposte (g. 1) no al
click (g. 1A e g. 2),
2) Agganciare la visiera FF al supporto facendo corrispondere i denti d’aggancio
alle sedi predisposte (g. 3). Chiudere quindi le levette rosse per bloccare la
visiera FF (g. 4),
3) Agganciare al casco il supporto visiera unito alla visiera FF (g. 5)
posizionando prima il dente di aggancio nero posteriore dell’adattatore (g. 6) e
successivamente il cursore rosso (g. 7),
4) Per rimuovere il supporto visiera tirare il cursore rosso posizionato
sull’adattatore visiera (g. 8) e sganciare,
5) Per rimuovere gli adattatori premere il dente di aggancio corrispondente
all’interno della calotta (g. 9) ed estrarli.
PULIZIA
Rimuovere la visiera dal casco e pulirla utilizzando esclusivamente acqua e
sapone neutro. Lasciare asciugare in maniera naturale a temperatura ambiente.
Evitare assolutamente l’uso di detergenti chimici, solventi, benzina o polveri
abrasive in quanto materiali aggressivi che potrebbero causare riduzione della
resistenza strutturale della visiera.
CONSERVAZIONE
Conservare in luogo asciutto, temperato e al riparo dai raggi UV. Quando non
utilizzata, è preferibile conservare la visiera protetta dalla luce solare diretta
e lontano da fonti di calore. Si consiglia di riporre la visiera nella confezione
originale. Qualsiasi intervento o modica non prevista, può pregiudicare la
funzione protettiva della visiera.
TRASPORTO
Non sono previsti particolari accorgimenti per il trasporto del dispositivo.
DURATA
Gli articoli e i particolari KASK in plastica possono avere una durata massima di
10 anni a partire dall’anno di fabbricazione indicato sul prodotto.
La durata della visiera dipende tuttavia da diversi fattori degenerativi, inclusi
gli sbalzi di temperatura, la quantità di esposizione alla luce diretta del sole
e l’uso più o meno intenso. Controllare regolarmente la visiera per accertare
la presenza di eventuali danni. Deformazione della vista, rigature, graf sono
elementi rivelatori dello stato di deterioramento della visiera e se ne consiglia
la sostituzione.
Eliminare e sostituire il prodotto nei seguenti casi:

- Prodotto con data di produzione più vecchia di 10 anni
- Prodotto sottoposto a forte impatto, caduta o deformazione meccanica.
- Prodotto che non soddisfa i requisiti di controllo.
- Prodotto di dubbia provenienza e storia di utilizzo.
- Prodotto obsoleto rispetto alle normative e ai dispositivi su cui viene applicato.
GARANZIA
KASK garantisce per 3 anni per ogni difetto dei materiali o di fabbricazione.
Sono esclusi dalla garanzia difettosità riconducibili a normale usura del prodotto,
modiche, cattiva conservazione, manutenzione impropria o utilizzi differenti da
quelli per cui il dispositivo è stato certicato.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Read the instructions carefully before using the visor; failure to follow the advice
given could reduce the level of safety provided by the visor. The manufacturer
and/or distributor will not accept any responsibility in the event of accidents
leading to injury or even death due to improper use of the visor. This visor must
be used exclusively for the purposes for which it has been certied. This product
has passed the CE certicate for use with safety helmets for overhead, arboreal
and industrial works, certied in compliance with EN 1731 or EN 166.
The visor meets the requirements of ANSI Z87.1.
The visor cannot be used individually but only in combination with the helmet
models ZENITH PL, ZENITH and the product variants ZENITH AIR, ZENITH BA
and ZENITH BA AIR. This product must not be used in situations other than those
it was designed for (e.g. electric risk).
The visor that is the subject of this manual is a Personal Protection Device of
the 2nd category and as such, has undergone CE certication procedure in
accordance with article 10 of the European Directive 89/686/EC and subsequent
amendments.
The notied body Certottica Scrl NB 0530 has carried out the EC certication
process.
REGULATORY INFORMATION
Caution: the mesh protector does not protect against molten metal splashes,
red-hot particles, electrical hazards, infrared radiation and ultraviolet rays. If
marked with the letter S they should not be used in hazardous activities with the
risk of hard or sharp ying particles.
Warning: the devices for protection against high-speed particles worn over
reference ophthalmic glasses, may result in potentially dangerous impacts for
the user.
Caution: the device model ZEN FF protects against high-speed particles at
extreme temperatures and it is characterized by the marking with the letter T
immediately after the impact letter.
If the symbols F, B and A are not common to both the visor and the structure, you
must assign the lower level to the complete eye protector.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
As a protective measure, the visor must be worn at all times during work and
sports activities. For adequate protection, the visor must be tted correctly to
the helmet to offer maximum safety. The visor must be adjusted to t the user
and it must be positioned in such a way to minimise the space for the intrusion of
external agents that could damage the eyes.
The protective material covered by this policy consist of hypoallergenic materials.
However, some particularly sensitive users could have allergic reactions. In this
case, it is recommended to discontinue use and, where appropriate, consult your
doctor.

FITTING THE VISOR TO THE HELMET:
When tting only use KASK adapters and visor supports.
1) Identify the left and right adapter (identied by the letter R and L on the back
of the adapter) and insert them into the holes (g. 1) until they click(Figure 1A
and g. 2),
2) Attach the FF visor to the support by matching the hooking clips to the tting
holes (g. 3). Then close the red levers to lock the FF visor (g. 4),
3) Attach the visor support with the FF visor to the helmet (g. 5) rst placing the
rear black hooking clip on the adapter (g. 6) and subsequently the red cursor
(g. 7),
4)To remove the visor support pull the red cursor positioned on the visor adapter
(g. 8) and unhook,
5)To remove the adapters, press the corresponding hooking clip inside the shell
(g. 9) and extract them.
CLEANING
Remove the visor from the helmet and clean using only water and neutral pH
soap and leave it to dry naturally at room temperature. Do not, under any
circumstance use chemical detergents, solvents, petrol or abrasive powders as
they are aggressive and could lower the structural resistance of the visor.
STORAGE
Store in a dry and cool place away from UV rays. When not in use, the helmet
should be stored away from direct sunlight and sources of heat and we
recommend replacing the visor in its original packaging. Any alteration or
addition that is not provided for may impair the protective function of the visor.
TRANSPORT
No particular instructions are necessary for its transport.
LIFE
The KASK articles and accessories made of plastic may have a maximum
duration of 10 years starting from the year of manufacture stated on the product.
However, the life of the visor depends on various factors which cause
deterioration, including sudden temperature changes, the amount of exposure
to direct sunlight and the intensity of use. Inspect the visor regularly to check
for any damage! Vision alteration, scrapes, and scratches are detectors of
deterioration of the visor, and we recommend replacing it.
Discard and replace the product in the following cases:
- Product with a production date older than 10 years
- Product subject to a strong impact, fall or mechanical deformation.
- Product not meeting the control requirements.
- Product of questionable provenance and usage history.
- Obsolete product compared to standards or devices to which it is applied..

WARRANTY
KASK guarantees against any material or manufacturing defect for 3 years.
Excluded from the warranty are defects attributable to the normal wear of the
product, modications, poor storage, improper maintenance or uses other than
those for which the device was certied.

Avant d’utiliser la visière, nous vous prions de lire attentivement et de respecter
les instructions indiquées pour ne pas limiter la sécurité offerte par la visière. En
cas d’accident avec lésions voire décès dues à un usage impropre de la visière,
le fabricant et/ou distributeur décline toute responsabilité. Cette visière doit être
utilisée uniquement et exclusivement pour l’activité à laquelle elle a été certiée.
La présente visière a été certiée CE pour l’emploi général avec les casques de
sécurité pour tous les travaux industriels ou autres, certiée conformément à la
norme UNI EN 1731 ou EN 166.
La visière répond aux exigences de la norme ANSI Z87.1.
La visière ne peut pas être utilisée individuellement, mais uniquement avec
les modèles de casque ZENITH PL, ZENITH, ainsi que les variantes ZENITH
AIR, ZENITH BA et ZENITH BA AIR. Ce produit ne doit pas être utilisé dans
des situations différentes de celles pour lesquelles elle a été conçue (ex. risque
électrique).
La visière qui fait l’objet de ce manuel est un Dispositif de protection individuelle
de 2e catégorie et en tant que telle, elle a été soumise à des procédures de
certication aux termes de l’article 10 de la Directive européenne 89/686/CEE et
de ses amendements successifs.
Le processus d’homologation CE a été effectué par l’organisme notié
Certottica Scrl NB 0530.
INFORMATIONS SUR LA NORME
Attention: la visière à maille ne protège pas contre les éclaboussures de métal
fondu, les particules en fusion, les chocs électriques, les radiations infrarouges et
les rayons ultraviolets. Si le casque est marqué avec la lettre S, il ne doit pas être
utilisé dans le cadre d’activités dangereuses présentant un risque de projection
de particules dures ou pointues.
Attention: les dispositifs de protection contre les particules à haute vitesse
placés sur les lunettes ophtalmiques de référence, peuvent transmettre des
impacts potentiellement dangereux pour l’utilisateur.
Attention: le modèle ZEN FF protège contre les particules projetées à haute
vitesse à des températures extrêmes et il est identié par un marquage avec
la lettre T suivant immédiatement la lettre d’impact.
Si les symboles F, B et A ne correspondent pas sur la visière et sur la structure,
attacher le niveau inférieur à la visière intégrale.
CONSIGNES D’UTILISATION
L’utilisation de la visière est obligatoire comme mesure de protection pendant
toute la durée de l’activité professionnelle ou de l’activité sportive. Pour une
protection efcace, il est important que la visière soit bien montée sur le casque
de façon à offrir le maximum de sécurité. La visière doit être réglée à la taille de
l’utilisateur et doit être positionnée de façon à minimiser l’espace permettant
l’intrusion d’agents externes pouvant endommager les yeux.
La matière protectrice couverte par cette politique est composée des matériaux
hypoallergéniques. Cependant, certains utilisateurs particulièrement sensibles
