Safety and Warnings
IWARNING
Please read these instructions carefully before use and
keep them for future reference.
• ALWAYS install the infant car seat so that the child is
facing toward the rear (handlebar) of the stroller.
• ALWAYS position the infant car seat so that it securely ts
inside the infant car seat adapter frame.
• The infant car seat adapter is for use ONLY on the Joovy
Caboose RS stroller. DO NOT use on other stroller
models.
• This infant car seat adapter is for use ONLY with specic
models of infant car seats.

Assembly and Usage
Unpacking the Product
• Remove everything from the box – Joovy Caboose RS Car Seat Adapter, and documents (not shown).
• Discard all packaging materials properly including plastic coverings.
• DO NOT allow children to play with any packaging materials.
Installing the Adapter and Car Seat
• Remove the front tray from the stroller.
• Line up the male brackets on the bottom of the adapter with the female brackets on the stroller
frame. (1)
• Push down on both sides of the adapter until both brackets click into place. (2) Pull the adapter up
on both sides to ensure it is secure.
• Push the canopy to its most rearward position.
• ADJUST THE SEAT TO ITS SECOND (MIDDLE) POSITION.
• Hold the car seat by the carry handle. Orient the car seat so that it faces the rear of the stroller
and lower the car seat onto the adapter. Adjust the backrest upwards until it can rmly support
the car seat. (3)
• Pull each side of the restraining strap up and over the car seat and the baby. Buckle the
restraining straps over the LOWEST part of the car seat and over the baby. (4)
• Adjust the straps so they are tight around the car seat but AWAY from the child’s neck. Pull up on
the infant car seat to ensure it is secure.
Removing the Car Seat and Adapter
• To remove the infant car seat from the stroller, unlock the restraining strap buckle by pressing the
button and both side releases. (5)
• Grasp the car seat handle and pull the car seat up and o the adapter.
• Press in on the adapter release buttons on BOTH sides of the adapter brackets and lift the adapter
o the stroller. (6)
IWARNING: ALWAYS position the infant car seat
so that it is resting ON the seatback, but NOT on the top of the
seatback. NEVER position the restraining straps on or near the
child’s neck as this may result in strangulation. When reinstalling
the infant car seat onto the adapter, ALWAYS rebuckle the
restraining strap and secure it tightly.

Care & Maintenance
Maintenance
All of the ttings, snaps, and other hardware and plastic parts on the adapter should be inspected
periodically to ensure that they are secured properly and not damaged or malfunctioning. The
restraint system, as well as all other straps and fabric items and their stitching should also
be inspected periodically to ensure that they are secured properly and not loose, torn or otherwise
damaged. Any missing, broken,or worn components should be replaced immediately, and the
adapter should not be used until they are replaced. Only original manufacturer’s components should
be used. If needed, please contact Joovy at our toll-free phone number.
Cleaning
The fabric material on this adapter can be cleaned using mild household soap or detergent and
warm water on a sponge or clean cloth. Always allow the fabric to completely air dry before using
or storing the adapter. The adapter should always be kept clean and free of dirt and foreign matter,
especially after operating the stroller in rain, snow, or other harsh environments.

façon que l’enfant fasse face vers l’arrière (barre d’appui)
du siège.
• Positionnez TOUJOURS le siège d’auto pour bambin de
façon qu’il s’ajuste de manière sécuritaire dans le cadre
de l’adaptateur pour ce même siège.
• L’adaptateur pour siège d’auto pour bambin est
UNIQUEMENT pour utilisation sur la poussette Joovy
Caboose RS. N’utilisez PAS sur d’autres modèles de
poussette.
• L’adaptateur du siège d’auto pour bambin est
UNIQUEMENT pour utilisation sur des modèles
spéciques de sièges d’auto pour bambin.
