Safety Information
Before placing your new appliance into operation please read these operating instructions carefully. They
contain important information for safe use, for installation and for care of the appliance.
Please keep these operating instructions for future reference. Pass them on to possible new owners of the
appliance.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or lack
of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
Children should not be allowed to carry out any cleaning or maintenance unless supervised.
Keep packaging material out of the reach of children! It can become a choking or suffocation hazard.
If you are discarding the appliance, ensure you cut the power connection cable (as close to the appliance as
you can) and remove the door to prevent electrocution and from children locking accidently locking
themselves in.
General Safety and Precautions
ATTENTION! Place the appliance in a well-ventilated room, clear of obstruction
ATTENTION! Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process,
other than those recommended by the manufacturer
ATTENTION! Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
ATTENTION! When positioning the appliance, ensure the power cord is not trapped or damaged.
ATTENTION! Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear
of the appliance
Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.
The refrigerant isobutane (R-600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the appliance, a natural
gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless flammable.
During transportation and installation of the appliance, ensure none of the components of the
refrigerant circuit are damaged.
avoid open flames and sources of ignition
It is dangerous to alter or modify this product in any way. Any damage to the cord may cause a short
circuit, fire and/or electric shock.

This appliance is intended for domestic use only.
Any electrical components (plug, power cord, compressor etc.) must be replaced by a certified service
agent or qualified service personnel.
The light bulb supplied with this appliance is a “special use bulb” intended only for use with the
appliance and should not be used for domestic lighting.
Power cord must not be lengthened.
Ensure the power plug is not squashed or damaged by the back of the appliance as this can cause the
cable to overheat a cause a fire.
Ensure you can access the mains plug of the appliance easily
When unplugging the appliance always pull the plug from the mains socket, do not pull on the cable
If the power plug socket is loose, do not insert the power plug. There is a risk of electric shock or fire.
This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when moving it.
Do not remove nor touch items from the freezer compartment with damp/wet hands, as this could
cause skin abrasions or frost/freezer burns.
Avoid prolonged exposure of the appliance to direct sunlight.
Daily Use
Do not put hot items on the plastic parts in the appliance.
Do not place food products directly against the rear wall.
Manufactures storage recommendations should be strictly adhered to. Refer to relevant sections in this
manual.
To avoid contamination of food, please observe the following instructions:
Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase in the temperature in the
compartment
Regularly clean surfaces that come in contact with food, and accessible drainage systems.
Clean water tanks if they have not been used for 48 hours; flush the water system connected to a water
supply if water has not been drawn for 5 days.
Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator, to avoid contact with other foods
If the appliance is left empty for long periods, switch off, clean, dry and leave the door open to prevent
mold developing inside.
Care and Cleaning
Before cleaning and maintenance, please ensure you unplug the appliance from the mains supply.
Do not clean the appliance with metal objects.
Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the appliance. Use a plastic scraper.1
Regularly examine the drain in the refrigerator for defrosted water. If necessary, clean the drain. If the
drain is blocked, water will collect at the bottom of the appliance.2

Installation
Important! For electrical connection carefully follow the instructions given in specific paragraphs.
Unpack the appliance and check for any damages. Do not connect the appliance if it is damaged. Report
all damages immediately to the retailer and retain the packing.
Please allow the unit to stand for at least four hours before connecting to allow the oil to flow back in
the compressor.
Allow adequate air circulation around the appliance to avoid overheating. To achieve sufficient
ventilation, follow the instructions in the relevant section.
Wherever possible the spacers of the unit should be against a wall to avoid touching or catching warm
parts (compressor, condenser) to prevent possible burn.
The appliance should not be situated close to radiators or cookers.
Ensure the mains plug is easily accessible after the installation of the appliance.
Service
This appliance must be serviced by an authorised Service Centre, and only genuine spare parts must be
used.
Any electrical work required after servicing of the appliance, should be carried out by a qualified
electrician.
Energy Saving
Do not put hot food in the appliance.
Do not pack food close together as this prevents air circulation.
Ensure food does not touch the back of the compartment(s).
In the event of a power cut or malfunction, do not open the door(s).
Do not open the door(s) frequently.
Do not keep the door(s) open for too long time.
Do not set the thermostat on exceeding cold temperatures.
Environment Protection
This appliance does not contain gasses which could damage the ozone layer, in either its refrigerant
circuit or insulation materials. The appliance shall not be discarded with domestic waste. The insulation
foam contains flammable gases. Observe local environmental standards when disposing off the appliance,
which can be obtained from your local authorities. Avoid damaging the cooling unit, especially the heat
exchanger. The materials used on this appliance marked by the symbol is recyclable.

Packaging Materials
The materials with the symbol are recyclable and should be disposed in suitable collection containers for
recycling.
Disposal of the Appliance.
Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
Cut off the mains cable and discard it.
WARNING! During use, servicing, and disposal of the appliance,
please pay attention to the fire warning symbol on the left (in yellow
or orange), located at the rear of the appliance (rear panel or compressor). There are
flammable materials in the refrigerant pipes and compressor. Please keep away from
fire and heat sources during using and disposal.

Door Reversal
Tools required: Philips screwdriver, Flat bladed screwdriver, Hexagonal spanner.
Ensure the unit is unplugged and empty.
Remove any loose items/fittings from appliance.
To remove the doors, it is necessary to tilt the unit backwards. You should rest the unit on something
solid to stop the unit from slipping during the door reversing process.
All parts removed must be saved to complete the reinstallation of the door.
Do not lay the unit flat as this may damage the coolant system.
You may require assistance to carefully lay the appliance onto its back onto suitable protective
materials (i.e. original packaging)
1. Carefully remove the top hinge cover with a flat screw driver.
2. Unscrew the top hinge with a Philips screwdrive
3. Remove the hole cover with a flat screwdriver
4. Move the core cover from the left to the right side. Lift the upper door
and place it on a padded surface to prevent scratches.
5. Unscrew the bottom hinge and remove the adjustable fee from the
opposite side.

6. Unscrew and remove the bottom hinge pin with a flat screwdriver, turn the bracket over and replace it.
7. Refit the bracket fitting the bottom hinge pin. Replace the adjustable
foot.
8. Place the door back on, ensuring it is aligned horizontally and vertically
so that the seals are closed on all sides before finally tightening the
hinge.
9. Insert the hinge bracket and screw it to the top of the unit, using a
spanner to tighten if necessary.
10. Clip in the hinge cover and screw the cover back on
14. Detach the Fridge and Freezer door gaskets. Rotate them 180oand
attach them.

Installation
Space Requirement
Keep enough space of door open. (All measurements are in mm.)
Levelling the Unit
To do this adjust the two levelling feet at front of the unit.
If the unit is not level, the doors and magnetic seal alignments will not be covered properly.
