HH Simonsen® has designed these irresistible Rod styling irons with a number
of leading stylists specialising in updos for long hair. The design of these eight
Rods is unique and gives creativity a boost, making it fun to design different types
of textures. The ceramic teflon coating ensures that the hair does not stick to the
surface during use, even when hairspray has been sprayed on the hair. The hair is
le so and shiny thanks to the ionic effect of the tourmaline.

Starting at the nape, create a small section and clip
the rest of the hair away. Use the crimping iron as
close to the scalp as possible. Aer 2-4 seconds
move the styler. Use the last wave endpoint as a
starting point. The process is repeated throughout
the entire length of the hair.
Start nederst (små inddelinger) og sæt resten af
håret fast med clips. Klem crepjernet godt sammen
så tæt på hovedbunden som muligt. Eer 2-4 sek.

Make a new parting. Repeat the process above the
first section. Be careful not to get too big with the
partings. It is ideal to make the parting the same
width as the styler.

Repeat the process throughout the hair.

Finalise the style by crimping the hair up at the
mid parting.
Use your fingers and shake to get separation in
the curl.

Unlike many volume iron, this irons also boast a smooth
action ‘swivel’ cord that eliminates tangled power cables.

1. Safety
Before using any HH Simonsen® product, piease read the
foliowing instructions carefully. This will safeguard you from
possible hazards and prevent the appliance from damage
caused by incorrect operation. Always operate according to
the instructions! HH Simonsen® cannot be held responsible
for any direct or indirect damage caused by missuse of this
product.
1.1 Explanation of Terms
You will find the foliowing terms displayed in these safety
notes: Danger: High Risk! Failure to comply with this
warning can be fatal or may result in serious injury. lgnoring
the instructions displaying this warning can kill, seriously
injure and/ar damage the appliances.
!Attention: Medium Risk. Failure to comply with this
warning may result injury or damage to property.
Note: Low Risk. This information should be taken into
account when handling the appliance.
1.2 General Safety
Danger: High Risk!
• Only use the Crimping Iron to style human hair
• Do not use it on artificial or animal hair
• Do not use the heating elements to dry objects
• The appliance must never be used in the bath, shower
or over a filled wash basin or other container containing
liquid
• The appliance should not be operated with wet hands
• Do not immerse with wet hands
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or rinse under
running dripping wet hair. When connected to the power
supply, never leave the appliance unattended
• Check the mains voltage according to the voltage speci-
fied on the rating plate. (on the inside of the appliance)
Never switch on the appliance when:
• The appliance or the power lead is damaged
• The device has been dropped, shows visible damage or is
not functioning properly

• The appliance is damaged to such an extent that electri-
cal parts are exposed
Whenever this is the case, disconnect immediately from
the power supply and contact the place of purchase.
Please note that the manufactures 12-month warranty
covers parts failure only and does not cover accidental
damage or excessive wear or tear.
The product must be unplugged from the power supply
when:
• A defect occurs during operation
• You wish to clean the appliance
• The application power switch is in off position
• The appliance is not being used

• Electrical appliances should be kept away from children.
Children should not be allowed to use or play with the
appliance or the products packaging, e. g. Plastic wrap-
ping or films should also be kept out of reach of babies
and young children
• Arrange the power lead in a way that it will not cause
obstruction or can be tripped over
• Protect the power lead from damage. Never pull on the
power lead, hold the power plug when removing it from
the power socket
• Clean the product with a slightly dampened cloth (not
wet). Always disconnect the product from the power sup-
ply before cleaning and ensure the unit has cooled down
• Never use petrol spirits or other abrasive cleaning
substances
• To prevent possible overheating, never place towels or
similar such items over or under the appliance
• Do not use the appliance near combustible gases e.g. di-
rectly in the airflow of sprays, aerosols and styling foams
• Do not attempt to repair the product or connection cable
by yourself
• Do not use an extension cable with this appliance
• As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts
remain live even when the unit is switched off
! Attention
• Risk of burns! Do not let bare skin come into contact with
the heating plates during or aer use until such time that
the plates have cooled down
• When in use, the power cable should not be allowed to
come into contact with the heating plates
• Do not wind the power cable around the appliance, this
can break the cable!
• When in operation only place the appliance down on firm
heat resistant surfaces
• Make sure the appliance has completely cooled down
before storing away
• This appliance is designed for use indoors only. Do not
use outdoors e.g. in a garden or terrace etc.
• This appliance has been designed for use as a hairstyling
iron only and must only be used with product specifically
designed for use with a heated styler

however it can be used in either commercial or domestic
