OVERVIEW
The HELTUN HE-RS01 Relay Switch “Quinto” (i.e. ve-channel) brings incredible
capabilities to any connected device: wireless control, energy savings, and absolute
comfort and convenience for your home. It ts easily behind outlets or switches in
standard electrical junction boxes—or in a circuit breaker panel connected to lights,
outlets, or motorized devices—making them ‘Impossibly Smart’ with over-the-Internet
monitoring, control, and advanced programmability.
Controls ve systems from two power sources
The Relay Switch“Quinto”manages either: 1) up to ve On/O devices, 2) three On/O devices
and one bidirectional motor, or 3) one On/O device and two bidirectional motors. Two
independent relay channel inputs allow control of systems with dierent power sources or use
of relay outputs as dry contacts. Each relay can be loaded up to 5 Amps.
Allows association with Z-Wave dimmers and motors
The HE-RS01 is an excellent choice for managing lighting systems. It allows association to
Z-Wave dimmers controlling both On and O, as well as smooth brighten (Up) and smooth dim
(Down) states using external switches connected to HE-RS01 inputs. It also is excellent for
controlling motorized shades, gates, windows, valves and door locks.
Five inputs for external switches plus a real time clock
Five inputs for external switches can be congured to control each of ve relay output
states in nine dierent modes. Inputs also can be used to activate Z-Wave controller scenes.
An onboard Real Time Clock (RTC) enables scenarios where connected devices are
triggered on a schedule.
Makes circuit breakers‘Impossibly Smart’
At 5 Amps per channels, the HE-RS01 is a perfect addition to a circuit breaker panel for
monitoring and controlling groups of devices from the Internet through a Z-Wave
gateway.
Know how much energy you use
The Relay Switch“Quinto” can determine how much energy is used by connected devices
any particular day, week, or month. Just specify the consumption of the load in watts for
each relay channel and the device logic will calculate total consumption relative to the
time since the output was in the‘ON’state.
Based on the latest Z-Wave platform
The HE-RS01 integrates a Z-Wave Plus v2 700 platform module allowing it to be used with
Z-Wave home automation systems. The HE-RS01 supports Z-Wave ‘S0’ and ‘S2’ security
protocols, SmartStart technology, and can be connected (associated) to twenty other
Z-Wave devices, such as relays, motor controllers, dimmers, etc.
