INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Hay’s Cord Set is designed for use with HAY table
lamps and shades. The cord features an inline
switch for turning the lamp on and off and is
equipped with a ready-to-use plug. Both LED and
halogen bulbs can be used, but please note that
the Cord Set does not come supplied with a bulb.
INTRODUCTION
This product is fitted with an E27 bulb fitting. HAY will not accept any
responsibility for any accidents or injuries that occur due to the use
of incorrect bulbs.
TECHNICAL DATA
Ensure that the power supply to the circuit has clearly been turned
OFF before installing the product. In some countries, electrical
installation must be carried out by authorised electricians/contractors;
please check with your local authority for guidance. The product must
not be modified in any way. HAY accepts no responsibility for any
products that have been modifed or tampered with. If the external
flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it should be
exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or the service agent or a
person with similar qualifications in order to prevent hazards.
This lamp is designed for indoor use only.
ATTENTION
Ensure that the power supply has been turned OFF before cleaning
the product. The product can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth
and mild detergent. Do not use alcohol or any other solvents to
clean the product.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
PARTS
1.
Unscrew and remove the lower shade ring from
the E27 bulb holder of the table cord set.
2.
Place the shade on the bulb holder and replace the shade ring to fix
it in place. Carefully screw a bulb into the bulb holder, ensuring that it
is not too tight. Please note that shades are sold separately. This cord
set should be used in conjunction with a standard E27 washer fitting
as shown below.
