• When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be observed, including the
following:
• Read all instructions.
• This product is intended for household use only. Do
not use outdoors. This product is only intended for
preparing food.
• This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• This appliance can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and if they understand the
hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Care is needed when handling cutting blades,
especially when removing the blade from the bowl,
emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains
supply if it is left unattended and before assembling,
disassembling or cleaning.

• Switch off the appliance and disconnect from
the mains supply before changing accessories or
approaching parts that move in use.
• Avoid contact with moving parts.
• To protect against electrical shock do not immerse
cord, plug, or appliance in water or other liquid.
• Unplug from the mains outlet when not in use, before
putting on, taking off parts and before cleaning.
• Check the power cord and plug regularly for any
damage. If the cord or plug are damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a
similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended
by the appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric
shock or injury. Only use the accessories supplied by
the manufacturer.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the work
top, or touch hot surfaces.
• Warning: Never leave the food processor running
non-stop for more than 1 minute at a time. If the
appliance has been running continuously for 1 minute,
allow it to cool down for 5 minutes before using again.
• Never put any objects into the openings on the outer
case.
• Never remove parts from the appliance such as screws.
• Never operate the Food Processor when the bowl
is empty and do not remove the bowl lid before the

blades come to a complete stop.
• Do not touch the cutting blades or insert any object,
such as knives, forks, spoons, etc into the bowl while
the Food Processor is in operation.
• Misuse may lead to injury. Do not operate this
appliance for anything other than its intended use.
• Warning: It is hazardous for anyone other than a
competent person to carry out any service or repair
operation which involves the removal of a cover which
gives protection against exposure to electrical parts.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Safety interlock mechanism
For your safety this Food Processor has been fitted with a safety interlock
mechanism and will not operate unless correctly assembled.
Please ensure the bowl has been pushed down firmly onto the base
assembly and the plastic lever on the lid locates correctly into the slot in
the base assembly.
IMPORTANT: Wash all items except the electrical components (base,
cord, plug) in warm soapy water before use.
Before using your food processor: Remove all packaging and check for
signs of damage such as, misaligned or damaged parts, damaged bowl
or base, damage to the blade or cutters or damaged power cord or plug.
If you find any damage do not use the food processor.
Removing the metal
blade cover
Remove plastic cover from the blade
before washing and using.
Important: Keep the plastic cover so
you can store the blade in it after use.
Always ensure the blade is dry before
placing it in the plastic cover.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
CAUTION: The steel blade and slicer both have very sharp blades.
Handle these components with caution. Ensure you keep your fingers
clear of the cutting edges when handling these items. Take care when
washing all blades and cutters, never leave them in a sink or washing
bowl with other items. Always wash separately.

Fitting the bowl
and drive shaft
1. Place the base on a firm
level work top away
from sources of high
temperatures or steam.
Never place the food
processor near or over
a cooker or other heat
producing appliances.
Never place in a heated
oven.
IMPORTANT: Always
ensure the food processor
is not plugged in
before assembling or
disassembling it.
2. Slot the bowl onto the base
as shown.
Rotate the bowl clockwise
until the raised section on
the base of the bowl is
aligned with the padlock
symbol on the base.
The bowl is now locked on
the base.
3. Slot the drive shaft down
over the spindle in the
middle of the bowl.

Steel Blade
Plastic Blade
Using the blade
attachments
1. Your food processor is
supplied with two different
types of blade.
Steel Blade: This blade
is used to chop food into
pieces.
Plastic Blade: This blade is
used to mix dough.
2. These diagrams only show
using the steel blade. The
same process can be used
for the plastic blade.
Slot the steel blade over the
drive shaft in the middle of
the bowl.
Important: Always check
that the blade is correctly
fitted over the drive shaft.
3. Slot the lid onto the top of
the bowl as shown in the
diagram.

4. Rotate the lid clockwise until
it locks in place.
Ensure the tab on the lid is
aligned with the top of the
bowl handle.
5. Wash the food you wish to
chop and cut into suitable
sized pieces. For meat,
please don’t exceed 20 x 20
x 60mm for best results.
Slot the food into the feeder
tube in the top of the lid.
Slot the plunger into the top
of the feeder tube on the
lid.
6. Slot the plug on the food
processor into a mains
socket and switch the power
on.
Choose the speed that you
wish to process your food
at:
P - Pulse: This automatically
will switch to 0(off) when
released.
1 - Low speed: Coarsely
chopped.
2 - High speed: Finely
chopped.
0 - Off: Blades stop
spinning.
Important: This appliance is
fitted with a safety lock system
which prevents the processor
from being used if it is not
assembled correctly. Unplug
from the mains power once
finished.

7. Rotate the lid anti-clockwise
(a) to unlock it.
Lift the lid off the top of the
bowl (b).
8. Carefully grip the sides of
the plastic sleeve of the
steel blade as shown in the
diagram and lift upwards off
the drive shaft.
Never lift the steel blade by
gripping the blades.
9. Lift the drive shaft out of the
bowl.
