II. ey Operation
1. Turn On/Off
By press Power On/Off Key and old it for about 2 second, user can turn on t e mac ine or
vice versa.
W en t e mac ine is in sleeping mode (described in part III. Operation Instruction),
pressing Power On/Off Key will make t e mac ine wake up.
2. Select Detected Currency
T is Equipment is capable of detecting more t an one kind of currency, Press t e Currency
Selection Key and old it for about 2 seconds, t e currency being tested will switc over
between Euro and Britis Pound (or anot er type of banknote), and t e corresponding
Currency Indicator (for example Euro Indicator) turns on. T e default currency being
tested is Euro w en power on.
3. Select Currency Exit Direction
T e banknote exit direction is selectable, press t e Exit Direction Key, t e exit direction
will switc over between Forward and Backward, and t e corresponding Direction
Indicator turns on. T e power on default exit direction is forward, t is means t e currency
will exit from t e rear.
W en a suspicious note is detected, it will always be wit drawn from t e Entrance.
4. Reset Detecting Data
T e number of s eets and total value can be reset to zero by old t e currency Exit
Direction Key for about 2 seconds.
Note: only t e data of t e currently detecting currency is affected, and t e data of anot er
currency will not be cleared.

III. Operation Instruction
1 Working wit AC/DC adapter
Please plug t e attac ed power supply adapter into main supply, and t en connect t e DC
output plug into t e DC socket on back of t e mac ine, T e mac ine will automatically start
and perform a self-testing routine, t en ‘0’ display on bot Number of Sheets Display and
otal Value Display, now t e mac ine is ready to work.
2 Working wit built-in battery
W en working wit built-in battery, t e user needs to press t e Power On/Off Key and old
it for about 2 seconds to power on t e mac ine.
3 Detecting
W en t e mac ine detects an insertion of banknote in Entrance, It will automatically start
t e motor and begin a detecting procedure.
T ere is no limitation on side or direction (it’s not include Swiss Franc,

If t e banknote is a genuine one, t e number of s eets will be increased and t e
corresponding total value added. W en t e number of s eets is above 999 or t e total value
is above 9999, t e data will be automatically reset to zero.
If t e banknote is a suspicious one, it will be rejected (wit draw from t e Entrance) and 3
beeps given, correspond alarm code will be displayed on Number of Sheets Display for a
brief time.
4. Sleeping (Power Saving) Mode
W en t e mac ine is supplied only by built-in battery, in t is case, t e mac ine may enter
sleeping mode after 5 minutes of idle in order to save power.
W en t e mac ine is in sleeping mode, t e currency indicator (for example EURO Indicator)
and t e currency Exit Direction Indicator will flicker at an interval to remind t e user t at
t e mac ine is now in sleeping mode.
T e sleeping mode can be waken up and return to working mode by inserting a banknote in
t e Entrance or by pressing t e Power On/Off Key.
Before getting into sleeping mode, t e Number of Sheets Display will display “-Pd” for a
brief time to remind t e user now t e mac ine is about to enter sleeping mode.
5 Battery Status Message
W en t e mac ine is c arging t e battery, t e Number of Sheets Display will display “-C ”
at an interval to indicate t e battery is being c arged. Usually it needs about 15 ours or
more to make t e battery be fully c arged.
If t e battery is low, t e Number of Sheets Display will display “-Lo” at an interval to
remind t e user t e battery needs to be c arged or t e user s ould s ut down t e mac ine.

IV. Alarm code
W en a suspicious note is detected, T e Number of Sheets Display will display t e error
message as following:
-E1
: lengt failure
-E2 -E3 : magnetism feature failure
-E4 -E5 : infrared feature failure
V. Troubleshooting
1. If t e mac ine keeps alarm or works abnormal, C eck t e following;
W et er t e main power supply is wit in specified range: AC 100V~ 240V/50~60Hz
W et er t e DC output is wit in specified range: DC 12V
W et er t e supply plug is well connected.
W en working wit battery, w et er t e battery is sufficient.
Keep away from ig magnetic affection.
Clean t e dust on t e sensors.
2. If a note is blocked w ile testing, please open t e top cover and take off t e note and test
again.
3. Please smoot t e note before testing, and notes must be put in straig tly w ile inserting.
VI. Maintenance
T is mac ine is a precise financial detecting equipment, and it needs frequently
maintenance.
1. Periodically c eck t e voltage of t e power supply to ensure t at t e voltage is wit in t e
specified range.
2. Keep t e mac ine in ventilated place and beyond insolating and magnetic field.
3. Periodically clean t e sensors: use a piece of cotton wit a small amount of alco ol to clean
all sensors, rubber w eels and non-slip rubber belt. Keep t e surface of sensor away from
s arp and ard articles to prevent damage.
