In order to prevent the heat pump causing
vibrations in the pipe network, the use of a
flexible hydraulic hose between the heat
pump and the buffer tank is recommended.
Connection size:
-Hydraulic hoses are already installed
in the heat pump.
-The temperature difference between
the supply and return should be at
least 5 K.
-The flow rate in the pipe network
should not exceed 0.8 m/s.
-In order for the system to defrost
more efficiently a buffer tank must be
installed.
Please note following general pressure
drops in a heating system:
10 kPA = 1 m high for a circulation pump
(please check the diagrams in the
manufacturer manual).
Water tank 1,0-1,5 m
Heat exchanger in a water tank 1,5-2,0 m
Heat pump 1,5-3,0 m
Heat meter 1,5-2,0 m
Filter (new or cleaned) 1,5-2,0 m
Electrical heater 0,5-1,0 m
3-way-valve 1,0-2,0 m
Pipes with angles 0,1-0,5 m
Note: You have to calculate all your pressure
drops in the system.
General: You need a min. 3.5 m3/h water
volume flow at 6m (6 kPA) pressure drop.
We suggest you a Wilo Stratos or Grundfos
Magma circulation pump.
Please also check your pressure drops on
the ground source side. Select a circulation
pump carefully according your pressure
drops.
