SpecificAbsorptionRate(SAR)information
SARtestsareconductedusingstandardoperatingpositionsacceptedbytheFCCwith
thephonetransmittingatitshighestcertifiedpowerlevelinalltestedfrequency
bands,althoughtheSARisdeterminedatthehighestcertifiedpowerlevel,the
actualSARlevelofthephonewhileoperatingcanbewellbelowthemaximumvalue,
ingeneral,thecloseryouaretoawirelessbasestationantenna,thelowerthepower
output.
Beforeanewmodelphoneisaavailableforsaletothepublic,itmustbetestedand
certifiedtotheFCCthatitdoesnotexceedtheexposurelimitestablishedbytheFCC,
Testsforeachphoneareperformedinpositionsandlocations(e.g.attheearand
wornonthebody)asrequiredbytheFCC.
