Product Description
FERRULES DIRECT’S FD100K pneumatic press is a versatile, heavy
duty machine capable of crimping wire ferrules ranging from 24
to 06 AWG (.25mm2to 60.00mm2) as well as terminals and con-
nectors 24 to 6 AWG (.25mm2 to 16.00mm2).
• Versatile: Die sets can be changed in seconds, A full selection
of crimping die sets( sold seperately) complement the FD100K.
• Powerful: With a 1.35T compression force, FD100K can crimp
all types of terminals and connectors including: wire ferrules,
coaxial cables, open barrel terminals, and ag terminals.
• Heavy Duty: A Veritable work horse, the FD100K press is ideal
for crimping large quantities of terminals
• Light Weight: Weighing only 12.20 lbs (6.0kg), the FD100K
crimping press can easily be trans ported from one location
to another.

Installation and Operation
1. Make sure that the air tubing and compressed air source is
disconnected
2. Remove the screws that secure the die set, located in the
crimping head
3. Place the selected die set in the now available slot, tighten
the screws fully to prevent movement while crimping
4. Connect the air tubing to the ports located on the side of the
FD100K and the foot pedal
5. The FD100K is now ready to use, while crimping keep your
hands clear of the crimping head to prevent personal injury
Maintenance and Storage
• Lubricate moving parts every 10,000 crimping cycles by add-
ing a few drops of a normal lubricant used for this purpose.
• Every few months, check that all bolts and screws are still
properly tightened. Proceed accordingly if they are not.
• Do not operate crimping press in environments with very high
or very low temperature or with high humidity, recomended
operating conditions: 40 °F to 120 °F.
• When not in use remove all tubing and cover open ports with
dust caps
• Keep machine in a dry, cool place and cover it with a suit-
able blanket to avoid dust and possible rust spot

Maintenance and Storage
Service Condition and Notes
• The uid used for the equipment: compressed air
• Use environment and uid temperature: 5-60oC
• The medium this equipment cylinder can only be used after
it is processed by a lter element of 40 um and above (the
compressed air can only be used for the clylinder after it has
gone through an air lter)
• The corresponding air tube and joint shall be chosen for the
pipeline connecting to the equipment and internal dirty ob-
ject must be removed, in order to prevent the sundry into the
cylinder from damage to the cylinder.
• When crimping big terminals, please ensure the air source
and air pressure is suficient.
• If it is used in low temperature environment, antifreeze mea-
sures should be taken to prevent water in the system from
freezing.

Imporant Safety Information
• Use this product only according to these instructions. Improper
use can create hazards
• Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy duty work
gloves during use.
• Keep hands and ngers away from the crimping dies when
using this product. This tool creates approximately 2.5 tons of
crimping tools
• NEVER attempt to crimp wires that are plugged into an outlet
and are electrically charged.
• Refer to the wire manufacturer’s instruction manual for specic
wire crimping instructions prior to using this product.
• Keep area clean and well lit.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all
times. This enables better control of the product in unexpected
situations.
• Keep bystanders out of the area during product assembly and
use.
• Do not assemble or operate when tired or when under the
inuence of drugs or medication.
• This product is not a toy. Do not allow children with or near this
product.
• Use for intended purpose(s) only.
• Inspect before use. Do not use if parts are missing or damaged.
• Maintain product label and name plates. These carry
