andthemastervolumecontrol.

Thisterminaloutputthemixedaudiosignalsofallsourcesthat
areconnectedtotheamplifier’sinputsandcanbeutilizedto
feedanexternalpoweramplifier,asignalprocessororany
otherexternalappliance.Theunbalancedsignalisaffectedby
theindividualinputcontrols.BeforeusingthePREOUTyou
havetoremovethebridging-stripbetweenthisbinding-post
andtheMAININterminal.

Incasetheusedmainsoutletdoesnotprovideaground
conductor,thisscrewoffersthepossibilitytogroundthe
amplifiersmetalparts.
Itisrecommendedtousethisswitchwiththe
generalvolumesetonminimum.
NOTE:connectingunbalancedmicrophonestotheappliance
whenthePhantomisswitchedoncouldleadtoseveredamage
onthemicrophonesandisthereforenotpermissible.Itis
absolutelymandatorytoperformanypluggingorunpluggingof
microphonecableswiththePhantompowerturnedoff.Also
makesure,thatthePhantompoweristurnedoffwhenutilizing
microphonesthatarenotmeanttobeoperatedwithPhantom
power.Thevoltagethatispresentonpin2andpin3oftheXLR
connectorcouldleadtoseveredamagesonthemicrophones.
