WARNING: When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed as below:
1. Read all instructions carefully before
using any appliance.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use
handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do
not immerse cord, plug or appliance
itself in water or any other liquid.
4. It is not recommended that children
operate this appliance.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use
and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts
and before cleaning.
6. Do not operate any appliance with
a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions or has been
damaged in any manner. Return the
appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair
or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments
not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause injuries.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge
of table or counter or touch hot
surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or
electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Always attach plug to appliance rst,
then plug cord into wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn any control to OFF
position, then remove plug from wall
outlet.
12. Oversized foods or metal utensils
must not be inserted in the appliance
as they may cause a re or risk of
electrical shock.
13. A re may occur if the appliance is
covered or touching ammable mate-
rial including curtains, draperies, walls
and the like when in operation.
14. Do not clean with metal scouring
pads. Pieces can break off the pad and
touch electrical parts, involving a risk
of electrical shock.
15. Do not place any of the following ma-
terials on the unit: Paper, cardboard,
plastic and the like.
16. Some countertop and table surfaces,
such as Corian®, wood and/or lami-
nates, are not designed to withstand
prolonged heat generated by certain
appliances. It is recommended by
countertop manufacturers that a hot
pad or trivet be placed under your
appliance to prevent possible damage
to the surface.

SHORT CORD PURPOSE
POLARIZED PLUG
If the plug still does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Never use the plug
with an extension cord unless the plug
can be fully inserted into the extension
cord. Do not alter the plug of the
product or any extension cord being
used with this product. Do not attempt
to defeat the safety purpose of the
polarized plug.
If this appliance is equipped with a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other), please follow the below
instructions:
To reduce the risk of electrical shock,
this plug is intended to t into a
polarized outlet only one way. If you
are unable to t the plug into the
electrical outlet, try reversing the plug.
If an extension cord is used: (1) the
marked electrical rating of the extension
cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the product; (2) the
extension cord should be arranged so
that it will not drape over the counter
top or tabletop where it can
unintentionally be pulled on or tripped
over by children or pets.
Note: A short power cord is provided
to reduce the risk of personal injury
resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a long cord.
Longer power-supply cords or
extension cords may be used if care
is exercised in their use.

PARTS IDENTIFICATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Unpack contents. Remove any packaging material such as plastic, cardboard,
or Styrofoam.
2. Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the base and heating elements.
CAUTION: NEVER immerse the base in water or any other liquid
3. The rst-time usage of the appliance may produce a small amount of smell
and smoke. This is normal and harmless. Smells and smoke comes from the
protective substance which applied to the heating elements during the
production process. The smoke and odor should go away with subsequent
with regular use of the appliance.
A. Side Handle: To operate the burner safely.
B. Heating Element: Coiled heater element.
C. Indicator Light: The indicator light illuminates when the unit is turned on.
D. Temperature Control Knob: The temperature control knob allows you to
adjust the temperature with OFF, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and MAX settings.

HOW TO USE
1. Before plugging in your new burner, check to see that the
electric circuit is not overloaded with other
appliances. This unit should always be operated on a
separate 120Volt AC outlet.
2. Be certain that your unit is set on a leveled, at, heat
resistant surface. Also, avoid using pans that are unstable
and easily tipped.
3. Place pan on heating element.
4. Turn the temperature control knob to the desired heat
setting. The electric burner has a range of temperature,
use the lowest settings (0 to 3) for simmering and gentle
heating. Use the high settings (4 to MAX) for boiling.
5. The power indicator light of the switch will glow
indicating that the heating element is turned on and
heating will begin immediately.
6. When cooking is complete, turn the temperature control
knob back to the “OFF” position.
7. If the burner is not to be in use for a long period of time,
it is highly recommended to unplug the unit from the
outlet. This prevents any accidental burns or injury.
8. Be sure to clean the burner after all parts have cooled
down. Make sure each part of the burner are dry before
storing or operating the burner.

CAUTION:
NEVER touch the
heating elements
while the burner is in
operation. Doing so
will lead to serious
personal injury.
Turning ON the
cooking plate without
a container on top will
damage the product.
A certain amount
of residual heat will
remain after switching
it off. This may be
used to keep some
food warm for a short
period.
1. Use a damp cloth/sponge and a mild detergent to clean
the product’s surface, ensuring that no detergent remains
on the heating element. Tip up the heating element to
clean the drip pan.
2. Thoroughly clean and dry all parts.
3. DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE SOAPS, DETERGENTS, OR
CLEANING MATERIALS TO CLEAN THE BURNER.
4. Any other servicing not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause hazards and should be
performed by an authorized representative.
