
2.2 Maintenance
If the lter clogs, clean the lter or
buy a new one. If the lter is defect
get a new and complete strainer.
We recommend cleaning the
booster like other equipment in the
area.
2.2.1 Filter
Push “red button” on the operation
panel to stop the booster.
Disconnect the main switch
Close the inlet water
Open an inlet in order to depressu-
rize the system
Remove the lter (A, Fig 8) and ll
in the descaling product.
Rinse the cleaned lter thoroughly
and mount it again.
2.3 Start
2.3.1 New system
NOTE: the pump must be bled and
lled with water before start up.
In order to ensure a problem free
start up of a new system the pipe
system must be ushed and bled
Bleeding the pipe system
1. Turn on the water supply to
rinse and bleed the entire
system. If satellites are instal-
led open the tap furthest away
until no air or dirt comes out.
Then rinse and bleed the next
tap and continue until the tap
closest to you has been rinsed
and bled.
Bleeding the pump
1. Turn off the engine (off).
Loosen the relief plug (F, Fig
9) 1-2 times until water and air
begin to ow out.
Note. Never loosen the relief
plug while the pump is run-
ning as this may damage the
packaging and cause perso-
nal injury.
2. Tighten the relief plug again
3. Start the pump so that all re-
maining air pockets are forced
up to the top of the pump.
4. Stop the pump
5. Loosen the relief plug 1-2
times again and bleed the sy-
stem until inly water ows out.
6. Tighten the relief plug once
more.
2.4 Daily operation
2.4.1 Start
1. Check that water and air sup-
plies for the system are open.
2. Press green button on the
control panel in order to start
up the unit.
2.4.2 Stop
1. Push the red bottom on the
control panel to stop the unit.

2.5 Service
Service may only be carried out by
authorized and qualied personnel.
Warning: The system must only
be serviced when there is no pres-
sure on the system.

2. Open a water outlet to depres-
surize the unit.
2.5.1 Components
2.5.1.1 Pump/motor
Both pump and motor are mainte-
nance free. See section 2.2.2
2.5.1.2 Controlsystem
The control system is maintenance
free. If defective: Call service
technician.
2.5.1.3 Non return valve inlet
side
If defective: exchange the non
return valve
2.5.2 Recycling and
scrapping
Recycle the wrapping and scrap
the machine according to recom-
mendations from the local authori-
ties.

2.2.2 Before a longer lasting
production stop
If long production stops are plan-
ned (more than 6 months) and the
pump is drained, it is recommen-
ded that the pump is secured as
follows:
Remove the coupling safety guard
Spray a couple of drops of silicone
oil into the axle between the top
section and the coupling
Carefully follow the instructions
given in the manual provided by
the pump supplier.
