1 Safety instructions
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage in the following cases:
• Faulty assembly or connection
• Damage to the product resulting from mechanical influences
• Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer
• Use for purposes other than those described in the operating manual

Risk of asphyxiation
• This device contains small parts. Keep it away from children.
ANOTICE! Damage hazard
• Only use screws and plugs suitable for the wall construction to fix the
bracket.
• Ensure not to drill through the wall.
2 Intended use
The device is designed to control the deployment and stowing of any blind, screen
or shade in the Dometic UK Blind Systems range of products.
The device is suitable for installation in yachts, boats, motor homes, caravans or
homes. It is designed for interior use only and should not be installed in bathrooms,
wet rooms or other locations with a high level of humidity.

3 Technical description
The range of the remote control depends on the location of the receiver and the
materials used in any intervening walls or structures.
4 Installation

5.1 Changing channels

➤Press the + button to change to the next channel.
➤Press the – button to change to the previous channel.

NOTE
• Each channel can be set to control one blind or up to 9 blinds. All
blinds on a channel will operate at the same time when operating
that channel.
• For a blind with two powered blind units you have to change the
channel and control of each unit individually.
• Channel P is designed to control all channels at the same time.

5.2 General notes on operating the blind
To operate the blind proceed as follows:
➤Press the button to stow the blind.
➤Press the button the deploy the blind.
➤Press the button to stop the blind moving.
To operate a Venetian blind proceed as follows:
➤Press the button briefly to tilt the slats up.
➤Press the button briefly to tilt the slats down.
➤Long press the button to stow the blind.
➤Long press the button the deploy the blind.
➤Press the button to stop the blind moving.
5.3 Rollerblind Powered
Proceed as shown:
• Pairing or un-pairing the blind to AP Remote: fig. 3
Note: Ensure only the blind being paired is connected to the power supply and
any other blind is disconnected.
• Changing the direction of blind: fig. 4
Note: Un-pair or disconnect from the power supply any other blind on the same
channel. After changing the direction of the blind reconnect or re-pair those
blinds.
• Setting the top and bottom stops: fig. 5
Notice: To define the top and bottom position, respectively:
Press the button at the required top position.
Press the button at the required bottom position.
• Operating the blinds: fig. 6
• Changing the motor speed: fig. 7
Note: The motor has two speed settings: Unrestricted and slow. When unre-
stricted the motor speed will depend on the supply voltage and supply cable
lengths. When set to slow the motors on different blinds will operate at the same
(lower) voltage and will be more consistent.

Proceed as shown:
• Pairing or un-pairing the blind to AP Remote: fig. 8
Note: Ensure only the receiver for the blind being paired is connected to the
power supply and any other blind‘s receivers are disconnected.
• Changing the direction of blind: fig. 9
Note: Un-pair or disconnect from the power supply any other receivers on the
same channel. After changing the direction of the blind reconnect or re-pair
those receivers.
• Operating the blinds
– D2 blind type: fig. 0
– DM blind type: fig. a
– SO and S1 blind types: fig. b
– S2 blind type: fig. c
5.5 Changing the batteries
Observe the following notes on batteries:
• Do not mix battery types.
• Replace both batteries at he same time.
• Remove batteries when AP Remote will be left unused for long periods.

NOTE
In the figures the channels 1 and 2 are depicted as example for blind 1
and 2, respectively. The setup for channels 3 through 9 is done
accordingly.

7 Cleaning and maintenance

➤Occasionally clean the product with a damp cloth.
Fault Possible cause Solution
Blind does not respond
to the AP Remote.
No power ➤Check the battery.
➤Check the power to the blind.
Wrong channel ➤Check the channel number.
Repeated or prolonged use can
cause the thermal cut-out to
activate.
➤Wait 20 min for the motor to
re-activate.
Wrong or lost pairing ➤Re-pair AP Remote to the blind.
Blind moves in the
wrong direction.
Wrong setting ➤Change the direction of blind.
More than one blind
moves.
When set to channel P, all
channels will operate at the
same time.
➤Change channels to control other
blinds.
Multiple blinds can be paired to
each channel.
➤Un-pair unwanted motors from the
AP Remote.
Display does not show
the channel number.
No power ➤Check battery.
Programmingproblems. AP Remote does not behave as
expected.
➤Do not leave big delays between
programming steps.
Note that the system will automatically
switch out of programming mode if no
buttons are pressed after 30 s.
NOTICE! Damage hazard
Do not use sharp or hard objects or cleaning agents for cleaning as these
may damage the product.

8Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact the
manufacturer's branch in your country or your retailer. You can find your authorised
customer service centre at dometic.com.
For repair and warranty processing, please include the following information when
you return the product:
• A reason for the claim or description of the fault.
If it not possible to return the product, please provide photographs or video
identifying the defect.
9Disposal
➤Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins wherever
possible.
MIf you wish to finally dispose of the product, ask your local recycling centre
or specialist dealer for details about how to do this in accordance with the
applicable disposal regulations.
BProtect the environment!
Do not dispose of any batteries with general household waste.
Return defective or used batteries to your retailer or dispose of them at
collection points.

Das Gerät dient zum Ein- und Ausfahrens von Rollos oder Sicht- und Sonnenschutz-
elementen der Produktreihe von Dometic UK Rollosystemen.
Das Gerät eignet sich für den Einbau in Yachten, Booten, Reisemobilen, Wohn-
wagen oder Häusern und Wohnungen. Es ist ausschließlich für den Gebrauch in
Innenräumen vorgesehen und darf nicht in Bädern, Nassräumen oder sonstigen
Räumen mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit installiert werden.

Die Reichweite der Fernbedienung hängt von der Position des Empfängers und den
Materialien ab, die in dazwischen liegenden Wänden oder Konstruktionen verwen-
det wurden.

HINWEIS
• Jeder Kanal kann zur Bedienung von bis zu 9 Rollos eingerichtet
werden. Alle Rollos auf einem Kanal werden betätigt, wenn dieser
Kanal bedient wird.
• Bei einem Rollo mit zwei motorbetriebenen Rolloeinheiten muss der
Kanal gewechselt werden, um die jeweilige Einheit einzeln anzu-
steuern.
• Kanal P ist zur Bedienung aller Kanäle gleichzeitig vorgesehen.
