Safety Precautions
ATTENTION
Please read this manual carefully before you start to operate the device
User is required to comply with safety precautions while operating
DoCash M combined MG/IR sensor:
If the device has been transported and stored under low tempera-
ture conditions, it is required to maintain the device at least two
hours under indoor temperature before switching it on.
Note!
Power supply of DoCash M may be provided only from DoCash 525, 530,
DoCash BIG or DoCash Lite D detectors.

Purpose of a device
DoCash M combined MG/IR sensor has been designed to control
availability and location of magnetic and infrared marks on banknotes
and securities of any type.
The device design allow to classify it as a “mouse”.
Use of the DoCash Мallows to increase identity rate of conclusions
made with regard to authenticity of examined specimen.

Types of control provided by DoCash M
DoCash M combined MG/IR sensor ensure the following types of con-
trol:
Magnetic control: availability, location and
implementation quality of security marks, let-
tering and pictures made by ferromagnetic
paint.
IR control: availability, location and imple-
mentation quality of security marks, images
and image fragments.

Operational procedure
Connecting up to main detector
1. Connect power supply attachment cap of DoCash M to any of two
plugs on the plug panel of main (“feeding”) detector.
2. Connect main DoCash detector to the mains outlet and move the
power supply switch to “ON” position.
3. Set the corresponding operation mode of the main DoCash detector if
necessary.
Banknote and document verification
Place the examined banknotes or documents on the operation mat surface.
Operation position of the mouse: Unit of sensors in front (view away
from the user).

Magnetic mark control
1. Use the Control Mode Switch to control magnetic marks of bank-
note (see “Design” section).
The Switch in extreme left position: Control of magnetic marks
is On. Light emission of the left indicator lamp is of green col-
our.
2. While keeping the Control Mode Switch in pressed position, run the
Unit of Sensors over the examined zone of banknote.
The Unit of Sensors running speed: 1-20 mm/sec.
If ferromagnetic paint is available in the examined zone the
right indicator lamp will light up with red colour and a beep will
be heard.
Infrared mark control
1. Use the Control Mode Switch to control security marks applied by
metameric paint (“IR marks”).
The Switch in extreme right position: Control of IR marks is
On. Light emission of the left indicator lamp is of red colour.
2. While keeping the Control Mode Switch in pressed position, run the
Unit of Sensors over the examined zone of banknote.
The Unit of sensors running speed: 0-10 mm/sec. Left LED
light colour: green.
If IR marks are available in the examined zone, the right indica-
tor lamp will light up with red colour and a beep will be heard.

Maintenance
If DoCash МUnit of Sensors surfaces are contaminated, they should be
cleaned by a wad of cotton wool wetted in alcohol.
Note!
Before performing any maintenance disconnect the power supply circuit
of DoCash Мfrom the main detector.
Clean outer surfaces of the DoCash Мby a soft dry cloth having antistat-
ic property or specific antistatic facility.
Note!
To clean the device surfaces avoid using any organic solvent (acetone,
white-spirit, petrol, etc.), as well as other detergents that include such sol-
vents as components.
Upon detecting any malfunction consult the DoCash Service Center.
