Setting Menu
The main menu is as follows:
General Setting

1. OSD language: Choose the language you wish the totem to display.
English: the language is English
Korean: the language is Korean
简体中文: the language is simplified Chinese
繁体中文: the language is traditional Chinese
2. Local ID: To set the ID of the machine, press the menu key then use the
up and down keys to change the number.
3. No files Auto Off: If this is set to on, the machine will power off if there
is no playable file available.
4. Banner Setting: To show a banner on the left or right side of the screen
set this to on, the banner must be as follows:
a. Photo name: banner.png
b. Resolution: 280*100
5. Time Volume: Set specific volume timers.
6. System Reset: This will reset the settings of the machine.
Play Setting

1. Photo Show Time: Set the amount of time before changing into the next
picture when displaying a slideshow.
2. Play Type:
a. Picture: Only play the picture files from the root of the catalogue.
b. Picture-Music Sync: Play the pictures with the background music
repeatedly.
c. Video: Only play the video files from the root of the catalogue.
d. Pic Video: Play both picture and video files.
e. As list: Play according to the list.
f. Split Screen: Play according to the split screen.
g. All: Play all of the files that can be identified (includes root files
and split files, but does not include the playlist file).
3. Photo Slide Mode: Set the switch mode of pictures.
4. Scaler Mode: Set the display scaler mode of pictures.
5. Split Setting:

Choose the Split Mode:
a. User: play the split file in the “split” folder which has been created by
the split tool.
b. Mode1-Mode4: Choose from the four pre-designed split modes shown
when selected. The maximum amount of images that can be shown is
five at any one time.
Photo Show Time: Choose the time before displaying the next photo.
Split Update: Save the selected split mode.
Subtitles Setting
1. Subtitles OnOff: Set the rolling subtitles to on or off.
2. Font Colour: Set the colour of the subtitles.
3. Font Size: Set the size of the subtitle fonts.
4. Subtitles Speed: Set the rolling speed of the subtitles.
5. Background Colour: Set the background colour of the subtitles.

6. Subtitles Position: Show subtitles at the top, in the center or at the
bottom of the screen.
Clock Setting
1. Time Setting: Set the time of the machine and press “Save The Time” to
update.
2. Time Position: Set the time display position on the screen.
3. Time Display: Set the time display mode.
4. Time Colour: Set the time display colour.
5. Timer setting:
a. Time Setting: Set the time of the machine and press “Save The
Time” to update.
b. Time Position: Set the time display position on the screen.
c. Time Display: Set the time display mode.
d. Time Colour: Set the time display colour.
e. Timer setting: Set Timer 1 to Timer 5 settings.

f. Prohibit Manual Off: Prohibit power off in IR & keypad when the
timer is on.
Within Timer 1-5 Settings:
a. Timer mode: Set when you wish the timer to be active. If this is set
to off, the timer will be disabled.

b. Power on timing: Set the time for the totem to power on.
c. Power off timing: Set the time for the totem to power off.
Note: The power off time should be longer than power on time. The time
options should be in order, from the earliest to the latest time.
Display Setting
1. Update Desktop: To change the background picture of the menu, set
the “priority storage” to USB, copy the new background picture to USB,
then name the picture “menu_bg_h.jpg” for horizontal "menu_bg_v.jpg”
for vertical.
2. Backlight Setting: Change the settings of the machines backlight.
3. Panel Backlight: Adjust the voltage of the backlight (1-10), with one
being the lowest (0.20v) and ten being the highest (5v).
4. Time Backlight: Set the time backlight to on or off.
5. Time Backlight Set: Set the backlight of the machine to night or daytime
accordingly. You can also set the start time of the backlight settings.
