1. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
When storing and transporting the PE storage tanks, care must be taken to
ensure that the tanks are not damaged by placing them on sharp objects
such as nails, steel chips, etc. Avoid pushing the tanks over rough floors.
Dirty tanks can be cleaned with water. The tanks must not be subjected to
improper use on the construction site. Temporary outdoor storage of the
tanks is possible in principle, but unprotected outdoor storage must be
limited to 6 months.
2. SETUP AND INSTALLATION
Before installing and before filling, the containers should be checked for
contamination inside and cleaned if necessary. The tanks are installed
horizontally on smooth, stable ground. The container bottom stands
completely on the surface. Ensure that the tanks are set up so that they
cannot tip over and that there is sufficient distance from the wall.
Building regulations must be observed.
2.1 TANKS FOR STORING LIQUIDS HAZARDOUS TO WATER
The tanks PE 2000 to 4000 DF white are approved according to abZ 40.21-138
and certificate KVU-No. 111.020.15 and KVU-No. 117.002.15 for storage of
liquids hazardous to water. The tanks are installed as individual tanks in
rooms of buildings, protected from UV light. The approval and national
legal regulations must be considered.
The flanged partially placed at bottom of tank must not be connected when
storing liquids hazardous to water and must not have any openings.
