DDM INSTALL GUIDE 9004/9007 HID Low Beam Kit (35W or 55W)
TOOLS NEEDED: None
Remove the OEM bulb from the headlight
housing. To do so, remove the bulb locking
ring by twisting it counter clockwise, which
will release the bulb from the housing.
Remove the bulb locking ring on the low
beam by simultaneously unclipping and
pulling the connector away from the bulb.

:Most 9004/9007 kits are relatively easy to install. Usually removal of
the headlight isn’t necessary. If removal of the headlight assembly is necessary
please refer to your vehicle’s owners manual for instructions. Note: We are using
a 1997 Jeep Cherokee for our install.

Pictured is your new HID wiring so far.
Then, install your new HID bulb into the low
beam housing.

Pictured is the bulb unclipped from the stock
power supply.
Next, plug in the adapter cables (blue plug)
Into your OEM low beam power supply.

Next, Install the other side of your adapter
cables (the blue plug) into the ballast.
Pictured is your new HID setup installed
correctly. Using the double sided tape
provided mount the ballasts in a dry, flat,
clean location.

Connect the corresponding AMP connectors
from the ballast to the bulb.
Reinstall your bulb locking ring with the new
HID bulb in place. To do so simply make sure
it is flush with the base of the bulb and turn
clockwise. 7
