2. Installation
Note: The Repeater Unit is installed when system enlargement (transmission distance) is
required, or when other system components cannot reach the Master Controller (link test is
unsatisfactory).
Temporarily connect the Repeater Unit to a 230V power supply outlet no further from the
Master Controller than you can operate both products.
Activate Install mode on Master Controller – g. 4
• Use the menu selection button to select the Install mode. Install LED
ashes
• Activate Install mode by pressing OK . Install LED goes ON
Activate Install mode on Repeater Unit
• Release the front cover, see g. 3
• Press the push button . LED and icker during communication
Repeater Unit installation status
• Satisfactory - LED goes OFF
• Not satisfactory - LED ashes 5 times

3. Placing and Mounting
The Repeater Unit has been assigned
When the Repeater Unit has been assigned to the Master Controller, discon-
nect it from the temporary 230V power supply outlet
• Place it somewhere between the Master Controller and the Room
Thermstat (with the unsatisfactory link test) – see g. 5 – and connect it to
a 230V power supply outlet
• Verify the transmission to the Master Controller by making a link test from
the Repeater Unit – see 4
• Perform another link test from the Room Thermostat with 1) the
unsatisfactory link test or 2) where system enlargement is required
Note: Extending the transmission range of the CF2 system
• Up to three Repeater Units can be installed in a chain – see g. 5
• Several chains of Repeater Units can be added to one Master Controller
– see g. 5

Initiate transmission test on the Repeater Unit – g. 4
• Press the push button
• LED goes ON
Link test is satisfactory
• LED goes OFF
• Mount the front cover again
Link test is unsatisfactory
• LED ashes 5 times
No transmission to room / Repeater Unit
• Try to relocate the Repeater Unit
• Or install one or up to three Repeater Units and place them
between the Master Controller and Room Thermostat
4. Transmission Test
Factory reset
•Disconnect the Repeater Unit from the power supply
•Release the front cover – see g. 3
•Press and hold down the push button
•Meanwhile plug in the power supply again
•Release the push button when the LED goes ON and OFF
