Note: Aempng to y the helicopter without completely reading the manual

The Smart iCopter is not a toy! If misused, it can cause serious bodily harm and
damage to property. Fly only in open areas indoors following all instrucons.
Keep items that can get entangled in the rotor blades away from the main and tail
blades, including loose clothing, pencils and screwdrivers. Especially keep your
hands away from the rotor blades.
Not recommended to be own on carpeted surface. Recommended to y on at
hard surface for opmum sensor detecon.
Addional Safety Precauons and Warnings
This model is controlled by a Bluetooth signal that is subject to interference from
many sources outside your control. This interference can cause momentary loss
of control so it is advisable to always keep a safe distance in all direcons around
your model, as this margin will help to avoid collisions or injury.
• Never operate your model with low baery or damaged / broken rotor blades.
• Always operate your model in an open area away from people.
• Keep all chemicals, small parts and anything electrical out of the reach of
children.
• Moisture causes damage to electronics . Avoid water exposure to all equipment
not specically designed and protected for this purpose.
• Never lick or place any poron of your model in your mouth as it could cause
serious injury or even death.

included in this instrucon manual . Although they can be used as a quick start
guide, we strongly suggest reading through this manual completely before
proceeding .

Drive Mode
The Smart iCopter comes with the ability to be driven on the ground. Use the
Drive Mode to familiarize yourself on direconal controls of the Smart iCopter
before taking to the air.
Press “Li O” buon to take o. In Easy-Fly
mode, the height is preset between 2.6 - 3.9
feet (0.8 - 1.2 meter). Press Land buon to
land your Smart iCopter.
Ready, Set, Li O ...
Once you are comfortable with the direconal controls, with a single touch of the
Easy-Fly One Touch “Li O and Auto Hover” feature, launch your Smart iCopter
into the air.
Press and hold “Ignion” buon unl rotor
blades start to turn. Use the direconal
control to Drive your Smart iCopter on the
ground. Use Altude slider to increase power
during drive mode. Press and hold Engine
Stop to stop.

Easy-Fly; One-Touch Simplicity Flying
Those who had experience ying tradional RC helicopters know it is a challenge
and the learning curve is usually a painful and frustrang process.
With our proprietary and Patent Pending
Easy-Fly features, you can now enjoy instant
ying experience with our One Touch
approach to ying.
Altude Slider
In-Flight Adjustable slider
In Easy-Fly mode, the height is preset between
2.6 - 3.9 feet (0.8 - 1.2 meter) for opmum
sensor detecon
Please note that your Smart iCopter uses
on board sound sensor to detect surface to
height changes, i.e. ying over table or other
furniture, and it will auto correct its altude
accordingly.
With the chance to take to the air, the Easy-Fly Smart iCopter in your hands will be
own enrely via Bluetooth with No Addional Adapter required.
Comes with a built-in Class II Bluetooth; watch and admire as your Smart iCopter
soar through the air in a poise manner for an approximate ight radius of 33 feet
(10meters).

Easy One-Gesture Landing allows you to land and
ignion o the Smart iCopter by ipping your
controller Device faceside down without needing
you to press any buon.
Please ensure that the Orientaon Lock on your
Device is turned o for this feature to work.
Trim (Rudder)
Trimming means adjusng the control surfaces
unl the helicopter ying fairly steadily without
wanng to move o either to the le/ right.
Turn the dial in the opposite direcon of the
dri to compensate.

Easy-Fly Auto Call Assist
The Easy-Fly feature comes with an Auto
Call Assist which is applicable for iPhone
users only.
The Easy-Fly Auto Call Assist will
acvate when you receive an incoming
call while ying your Smart iCopter. The
Smart iCopter will auto land and shut
o so that you can receive your call
without having to bother about your
Smart iCopter ying o unaended.
Auxiliary Controls
Search Light
Emits a single light beam from the front
of the Smart iCopter, to perform like a
searchlight.
Navigaon Light
Turns on the blinking lights.
Baery Indicator
Indicator shows the status of the baery
for your Smart iCopter.

Baery Charging and Care
Please ensure that you have adequately
charged your baery before ying. When the
unit is charging, the lights will be RED, and
turns BLUE when fully charged. Toggle the
switch next to the charging port to turn the
power On/O.
Smart iCopter charges using the USB cable
included in the box when you purchase your
Smart iCopter. Connect the USB Cable to your
Mac or PC or a 5V charger to charge.
Warning: Lithium Ion or Lithium Polymer Rechargeable Baery Inside
(No Lithium Metal). Risk of explosion if baery is replaced with an
incorrect type. Don’t open or puncture the baerry, short circuit, or
expose to re, high temperatures, or water. Keep baery out of reach
of children.
• Li-Po baeries are signicantly more volale than the Alkaline, Ni-Cd or Ni-MH
baeries used in RC applicaons. All instrucons and warnings must be followed
exactly. Mishandling of Li-Po baeries can result in a re, personal injury, and/or
property damage.
• By handling, charging or using the included Li-Po baery you assume all risks
associated with lithium baeries. If you do not agree with these condions,
return your complete Smart iCopter model in new, unused condion to the place
of purchase immediately.
• You must charge the included Li-Po baery in a safe area away from ammable
materials.
• Never charge the baery unaended. When charging the baery you should
always remain in constant observaon to monitor the charging process and react
to potenal problems that may occur.
• Aer ight, the baery must be cooled to ambient temperature before charging
.
• DO NOT USE A Ni-Cd or Ni-MH CHARGER. Failure to charge the baery with
a compable 5V charger may cause re resulng in personal injury and/or
property damage.
Bluetooth Pairing
Before aempng to y your Smart
iCopter, please ensure that you pair via
Bluetooth.
Turn on your Smart iCopter, on your
Device, go to Sengs > General >
Bluetooth > toggle switch to “On”.
Please note that Bluetooth uses a lot of
your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad baery
power. Be sure to turn o Bluetooth
when you are not using it to conserve
baery power.

you will be prompted to download the free Smart iCopter App. Tap Yes to connect
to the iTunes Store and download the App.

Easy-Fly Mode - One Touch Experience
When we designed the Smart iCopter series, we
wanted to make ying an enjoyable fun-tasc
experience for you.
With the Easy-Fly feature, the Smart iCopter series
is the rst in the world to introduce the One Touch
approach to ying this class of RC Copter.
Advanced Mode
In the Advanced Manual Control
mode, you will be able to further
take control of your Smart iCopter,
while retaining key Easy-Fly
features.

The Smart iCopter is NOT a TOY and only suitable for INDOOR use.
WARNING: Suitable for Ages 14 and up. This product may contain small parts
which may pose as a choking hazard to children.
Please read this manual carefully before aempng to y your Smart iCopter, and
make sure you are always conscious of your own personal safety and the safety of
others. Be conscious of your surroundings and environment when operang the
Smart iCopter.

operaon or use of this product. The user/ purchaser is responsible for common
knowledge and exercising one’s personal safety and the safety of others, that may
be aected by the use of the product, be they a parcipant or spectator.
Aer the sale of this product, we cannot maintain any control over its operaon or
usage. Any damage or dissasfacon as a result of accidents or modicaons are
not covered by any warranty, and cannot be returned for repair or replacement.
Do not operate or y under following condions
• In an area that has wind dras. The Smart iCopter is STRICTLY for indoor ying
only. Common household items such as Fan, Air Condioner or Heater System
may cause dri resulng in unstable ying condions.
• If model feels hot due to overheated rotor motor from prolonged hours of ying.
• If model has been in contact with rain, moisture, or contaminants.
• In cold climate condions - plascs are very suscepble to damage due to cold
climates. Opmum operang temperature is between 20˚- 45˚C.
• If model has been in contact with re or high heat - plascs and electronics
components are very suscepble to damage or deformaon due to heat.
• In crowded areas of the home. Avoid operang your model in the street where
injury or damage can occur. Never operate the model out on the street or in
populated areas for any reason.
• Near roads, railways, or power lines.
• If red, sick, or under the inuence of drugs or alcohol.
• If beginner or individual(s) planning to operate a borrowed helicopter unfamiliar
with model or safety instrucons.
Inspect All Parts
• Before each ight, check for damaged parts and verify all parts are operang
normally with all funcons in order. Do not y if blades are damaged.
• Verify that there are no abnormalies that would adversely aect the ight of
the helicopter.
• Verify baery on board helicopter and your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad to ensure
that they have sucient level of charge.
• Verify there is no introducon or exposure to water or moisture in any form.
During operaon of helicopter
• Always be aware of your surroundings. DO NOT ALLOW Children to operate the
Smart iCopter without Adult Supervision.
• Maintain safe distances from aircra and rotang main/tail rotor blades.
Recommended safe distance is 10 feet (3 meter).
• Always be conscious of your acons.
• Wear appropriate clothing that does not interfere with your iPod touch, iPhone
or iPad or Smart iCopter.
• Never leave your model unaended. Carefully follow all direcons and warnings.
• Maintain eye contact with your Smart iCopter during all aspects of operaon.
