IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This manual contains important safety instructions. Please read and follow all instructions carefully during installation and operation of the
unit. Read this manual thoroughly before attempting to unpack, install, or operate the Voltage Regulator.
CAUTION! To prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, install in a temperature and humidity controlled indoor area free of conductive
contaminants. (See the specifications for the acceptable temperature and humidity range.)
CAUTION! To reduce the risk of overheating the Voltage Regulator, do not cover the unit’s cooling vents and avoid exposing the unit to
direct sunlight or installing the unit near heat emitting appliances such as space heaters or furnaces.
CAUTION! Do not plug the unit input into its own output.
CAUTION! Do not allow liquids or any foreign object to enter the unit. Do not place beverages or any other liquid-containing vessels on or
near the unit.
CAUTION! In the event of an emergency, press the RESET/OFF switch to OFF position and disconnect the power cord from the AC
power supply to properly disable the unit.
CAUTION! Unplug the unit prior to cleaning and do not use liquid or spray detergent.
INSTALLING YOUR AVR SYSTEM
UNPACKING
The box should contain the following:
(1) Unit x 1; (2) User Manual x 1;
OVERVIEW
The CL series guarantees reliable and stable power output for POS systems, home theater systems, home appliances, computers and
laptops. The power conditioner has built-in Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) function to offer stabilized AC power output, especially
suitable for areas with unstable utility or for use with generators. The product has built-in surge and spike protected outlets, EMI filter and
overload protection to safeguard connected equipment.
The total power consumption of all equipment plugged into the CL series must not exceed the “Output Power Capacity” rating listed in the
Specifications table.
BASIC OPERATION
1. Normal Mode LED
The green LED will light when utility power is normal.
2. AVR Mode LED
The yellow LED will light when utility power is abnormal and the unit will work in AVR mode.
3. Input abnormal voltage LED
The red LED will light when utility power is not in input voltage range as defined in “TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION”.
4. RESET/OFF Switch
Press the switch to RESET position to turn ON the unit. Press the switch to OFF position to turn OFF the unit. The circuit breaker is in
the OFF position. When overload condition is detected, the switch will be tripped to OFF position for protection.
5. Surge Outlet
Provides surge protection for devices that don’t require AVR function.
6. AVR Outlet
Provides AVR and surge protection.
The unit has several AVR and surge suppression outlets to offer stabilized AC output for connected equipment.
7. Input power cord
Connect to utility power.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Possible Cause Solution
The unit will not turn
on.
The unit is not connected to an AC outlet. The unit must be connected to a 120 50/60Hz outlet.
Mechanical problem. Contact CyberPower Systems Technical Support.
Outlets do not
provide power to
equipment
RESET/OFF switch is tripped due to overload
protection. Unplug all connected equipments and reset the switch.
Unit is automatically turned off due to over
temperature protection.
Reduce the amount of equipment which is connected
to AVR outlets and wait for 30 minutes. The output
power will recover automatically.
Unit has been damaged by a surge or spike. Contact CyberPower Systems Technical Support.

INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE SEGURIDAD
Este manual contiene instrucciones importantes de seguridad. Lea y siga las instrucciones cuidadosamente durante la instalación y
operación de la unidad. Lea este manual antes de intentar desembalar, instalar u operar el AVR (regulador automático de voltaje).
¡PRECAUCIÓN! Para evitar riesgo de incendio o descarga eléctrica, instale en un área interior con temperatura y humedad controladas y
libre de contaminantes conductores. (Consulte las especificaciones para conocer el rango aceptable de temperatura y humedad.)
¡PRECAUCIÓN! Para reducir el riesgo de sobrecalentamiento del AVR, no cubra las rejillas de ventilación de la unidad y evite exponer la
unidad a la luz solar directa o instalar la unidad cerca de aparatos que emitan calor, como calefactores u hornos.
¡PRECAUCIÓN! No conecte la entrada de la unidad a su propia salida.
¡PRECAUCIÓN! No permita que entren líquidos u objetos extraños en la unidad. No coloque bebidas ni ningún otro recipiente que
contenga líquidos sobre o cerca de la unidad.
¡PRECAUCIÓN! En caso de emergencia, presione el interruptor RESET/OFF. A la posición OFF y desconecte el cable de alimentación
de la fuente de alimentación ca para desactivar correctamente la unidad.
¡PRECAUCIÓN! Desenchufe la unidad antes de limpiarla y no use detergente líquido o en aerosol.
INSTALANDO SU SISTEMA AVR
DESEMPACANDO
La caja debe contener lo siguiente:
(1) Unidad x 1; (2) Manual de Usuario x 1;
DESCRIPCIÓN
La serie CL garantiza una salida de energía confiable y estable para sistemas POS, sistemas de cine en casa, electrodomésticos,
computadoras y portátiles. El acondicionador de energía tiene una función de regulación automática de voltaje (AVR) incorporada para
ofrecer una salida de energía de CA estabilizada, especialmente adecuada para áreas con servicios públicos inestables o para su uso
con generadores. El producto tiene tomacorrientes protegidos contra sobretensiones y picos integrados, filtro EMI y protección contra
sobrecargas para proteger el equipo conectado.
El consumo de energía total de todos los equipos conectados a la serie CL no debe exceder la clasificación de “Capacidad de potencia
de salida” que se indica en la tabla de Especificaciones.
OPERACIÓN BÁSICA
1. LED Modo Normal
El LED se iluminará en verde si la entrada de energía es normal.
2. LED Modo AVR
El LED se iluminará en Amarillo cuando la entrada de energía es anormal y la unidad trabajará en modo AVR.
3. LED Voltaje de Entrada Anormal
El LED se iluminará en rojo cuando la energía no esté en rango de voltaje de entrada como se define en “Especificaciones Técnicas”.
4. Interruptor RESET/OFF
Presione el interruptor a la posición RESET para encender la unidad. Presione el interruptor a la posición OFF para apagar la unidad.
Cuando se detecta una condición de sobrecarga, el interruptor se disparará a la posición de OFF para protección.
5. Tomacorrientes con supresión de picos
Proporciona protección contra sobretensiones para dispositivos que no requieren la función AVR.
6. Tomacorrientes con protección AVR
Proporciona AVR y protección contra sobretensiones.
La unidad tiene varios AVR y salidas de supresión de picos para ofrecer una salida de CA estabilizada para los equipos conectados.
7. Cable de Alimentación
Conéctelo a la red pública.

RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

enciende
La unidad no está conectada a una toma de CA.
La unidad debe estar conectada a una toma de 120 V

El interruptor RESET/OFF se dispara debido a
la protección de sobrecarga.
Desenchufe todos los equipos conectados y reinicie el
interruptor.
La unidad se apaga automáticamente debido a
la protección contra sobrecalentamiento.
Reduzca la cantidad de equipo que está conectado a
los enchufes AVR y espere 30 minutos. La potencia de
salida se recuperará automáticamente.
La unidad ha sido dañada por una sobretensión
o un pico.
Póngase en contacto con el soporte técnico de
CyberPower Systems.
