Important Notice To Purchaser
Before installing this heater, the user should determine the suitability of the heater and its
intended use. Cürv360 Limited shall not be liable for any direct, indirect special, incidental or
consequential damages resulting from improper product use.
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste.
Please recycle where facilities exist.
IMPORTANT! THESE INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE READ CAREFULLY AND RETAINED FOR
FUTURE REFERENCE
Failure to observe these instructions will invalidate the warranty.
Do not disassemble the Cürv heater or this will invalidate the warranty.
Warning
To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or injury:
1. This heater must be disconnected from the power during installation
or when replacing.
2. Check each heater, plug and cable are free from damage before
installation.
3. In order to avoid overheating and potential re hazard, do not cover the
heater with insulating material or similar material under any circumstances.
4. Do not touch the heater when in use. Cürv infrared heaters have a surface
temperature of around 85°c and prolonged contact with the heater will cause burns
and injury.
5. Do not operate the heater if the cable or plug is damaged or after the heater
malfunctions, or if it has been dropped or damaged.
6. For Cürv Towel Rails and Mirrors handle with care and avoid damaging the glass. Do not
use the heater if the glass is damaged; disconnect the heater and do not use again.
7. This heater must only be used for internal use within a property.
8. Children should be kept away and should not be left unsupervised around the heater.
9. Ensure the heater is isolated at the mains when cleaning.
10. Important: Cürv infrared heaters are designed for use with an AC voltage
between 220-240 volts, 50 Hz AC
11. Important: the heater must be mounted on a non-ammable surface.
Safety Precautions

However, installation in potentially wet or humid rooms such as bathrooms must be carried
out by a suitably qualied installer and comply with local electrical safety requirements.
Installation must be such that:
• The heater must not be able to become detached from the ttings and fall into a
bath, shower, swimming pool or other water container.
• Switches and other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or shower.
If in doubt, do not install. Cürv360 Limited shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury
caused or resulting from inadequate tting or incorrect placement of heaters close to water
sources.
Installation Position
Cürv infrared heaters heats objects by transferring energy directly from the heater into the
object. Therefore, consider placing the heater where it will not be obstructed by objects like
furniture or where it cannot eectively radiate the heat. Objects placed in front of the heater
will heat up and can prevent eective heat being dispersed into the room and could cause
the heater to overheat and will void the warranty. Avoid placing the heater opposite large
windows or open doorways.
Only the Cürv Towel Rails and Cürv Mirrors are rated to IP44 enabling them to be located
within a splash zones in a bathroom (Zone 2).

All Installations should only be carried out by suitably qualied person or competent
persons.
If the Cürv Infrared Heater is being hard wired (so the plug is removed), the electrical
installation should only be carried out by suitably qualied personnel.
Wiring to this appliance must be connected in accordance with the relevant national electrical
safety standards. It is a Class 1 appliance and must be earthed.
When placed in public areas, installation must comply with relevant local electrical standards.
For certain public buildings like schools and care homes the heaters must be installed
according to the specic legislation for these types of buildings.
The electrical supply to the heater should be connected to a circuit protected by a fuse and
adequate circuit protection which comply with the latest building regulations and earth
arrangements, to ensure the heater will disconnect from the supply if there is a fault.
Colour coding used in the supplied mains cable:
BROWN wire is to be connected to LIVE (‘L’)
BLUE wire to NEUTRAL (‘N’)
GREEN/YELLOW wire to EARTH (‘E’).
Ensure mains power is OFF before commencing an installation involving xed wiring.
Ensure that the power cable is not coiled. Do not place excess cable on the rear of the heater.
Electrical connections must not be made behind the heater.
Do not install the Infrared Heater immediately below a socket.
DO NOT drill through the heater as this will cause irreparable damage.
DO NOT connect a heater that is damaged to the electricity.
When installing your Cürv Infrared Heater only use the supplied mounting bracket and install
in accordance with the installation guide. Cürv360 Limited cannot accept responsibility for
damage, loss or injury caused by, or resulting from incorrectly installed heaters. Cürv360
Limited will not assume liability for consequential loss however caused.
*Heater wattage output can vary due to the voltage with in you property.
Caution

Before attempting to clean the heater, unplug the heater or isolate the heater from the
electrical supply and allow it to completely cool down. DO NOT immerse the Cürv Infrared
heater in water. Clean the heater with a damp cloth. For mirror models and towel rails glass
cleaner can be used. Never use a wet cloth. When clean, dry the surfaces with a dry cloth.
Wait until the heater is completely dry before use.
DO NOT apply abrasive materials, solvents or solvent wipes to the surface as this can cause
irreparable damage.
DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing
so will void your warranty.

Please register your product within the rst 3 months to validate your warranty
Within fteen years from date of purchase Cürv360 Limited will repair or replace the
heater element where the fault is due to defects in materials or workmanship. All electronic
components of this heater will be replaced with in the rst ve years from purchase in event
of failure. In the event of a warranty claim please consult your local dealer and return the
heater together with proof of purchase.
A prerequisite for validity of the warranty is use at the specied supply voltage of the heater
and use in accordance with the conditions specied in this manual. (Any further warranty or
claims are excluded.)
Failure to register your warranty as per above will result in a twelve month warranty being
granted for all components of the heater.
Curv Smart products require a WIFI enabled (2.4Ghz protocols 802.11b/g/n) router and
internet connection to access the smart hub.
Curv cannot be held responsible for the quality or consistency of your internet connection
and faults should be addressed with your provider.
This Limited Warranty does not guarantee that the use of the Curv Smart products will be
uninterrupted or error free.
The warranty covers the repair or replacement of the defective product only and Cürv360
Limited shall have no liability for installation costs or consequential loses however incurred.
Removing the serial number will void the warranty. The warranty will also be void if the
heater has been tampered with or opened in any way.
The product identication label must be left on the panels where they can be accessed after
installation if necessary.
Cürv360 Limited will assume no responsibility for scratches on surface after rst use.
Cürv360 Limited cannot accept responsibility for damage, loss or injury caused by ingress
of water or moisture, accidental damage, mishandling, external impact, adjustment by
unauthorised personnel or failure to follow the correct maintenance and safety precautions
as stated in the manual. Refer to Cürv 360 limited warranty policy for full details.

Our heaters can be installed horizontally or vertically to suit your requirements.
We supply a xing pack containing wall xings, mini level, drill bit and xing template.
To install horizontally x the bracket to the wall with the A pointing up. Ensure the xings
on the rear of the heater are screwed into the screw holes marked A. See Fig 1.
To install vertically x the bracket to the wall with the B pointing up. Ensure the xings on
the rear of the heater are screwed into the screw holes marked B. See Fig 2.

Step 1
Please remove transportation screws before installation. Place the bracket on the wall
centrally where you wish to install the heater then mark the xing holes or use the template
provided.
Step 2
Drill the holes with the drill bit supplied then use the correct wall xings to secure the bracket
to the wall:

Place your Cürv Infrared heater onto the bracket ensuring all it locks into place on the
bracket. Please refer to Fig 1 and Fig 2 for help.

Plug your heater in and switch on the power.
