
Model 14 & B78 Fitting Instructions
Shoulder Strap 40mm Adjusters.
To loosen or tighten the straps.
The shoulder straps ‘slide-fix’ onto the push
handles & then pass down to loop onto the
lap belt at either side of the central buckle.
To Extend Straps:
The 40mm Adjusters are slightly spring
loaded to lock the webbing into position.
To release the webbing you need to
squeeze the Adjuster whilst pulling
on the lower webbing strap.
To Tighten Straps
Simply pull the tail-end of
the webbing strap.
The Adjuster will lock the
webbing into position
The groin strap loops over the central lap belt buckle.
Adjust the length by pulling the tail-end of the strap
through the black plastic Adjuster buckle.
The black plastic 3-bar
‘Sliplok’ slides hold the straps more
securely into position.
Lap belt loops onto the ‘tipping levers’
of manual chairs.

see ’slide-fix’ method below.
The groin strap is fixed around the
cross-section of the framework
underneath the wheelchair seat
by using the ‘slide-fix’ method.

simultaneously to release
Pass the end of strap around
the metal tubular frame. Double back & thread the
strap through the slide.
It is essential for safety purposes that
you thread the end of the strap back
once again through the bottom bar of
the buckle.
Pull the strap & ‘tighten’ the grip of
the webbing to the metal frame.

Steel Safety Buckle
For those passengers who can
unfasten the other buckles

Hold & raise the spring
loaded thumb catch whilst
separating the two sections
of the buckle
