All foldable rear seats must be locked. The backrests of the vehicle seats
must always be in an upright position.
Once the car seat is fitted, make sure no parts can become trapped in the
doors or the seat mechanism.
The hard items and the plastic parts of the child car seat must be located and
installed properly during everyday use of the vehicle, to avoid being trapped
by a movable seat or by a vehicle door.
Make sure that all heavy or sharp-edged objects that could cause injury in
case of an accident are secured properly.
Always ensure that the child car seat is secured, even when not in use. A
loose child car seat can cause injury to other passengers in the car during
emergency stop or accident.
Make sure that the straps holding the restraint to the vehicle should be tight
and any straps restraining the child should fit snugly to the child’s body.
Check to make sure that the straps are not twisted.
All passengers in the vehicle must have their seat belts fastened. Any
passenger in the vehicle who are not wearing seat belts may pose danger to
the child in the car seat.
All passengers should be aware of how to release the child from the car seat
in case of danger or an accident. The car seat should be replaced
immediately if it has been subjected to violent shocks in an accident.
Protect the child car seat against intense sunlight when it is not in use. The
metal and plastic parts of the car seat may turn extremely hot under the sun
and this may burn your child.
It is unavoidable that the use of child car seat may cause indentations or
wear marks to certain types of vehicle seat covers.
Do not use any load bearing contact points other than those described in the
instructions and marked in the child restraint.
Make sure that the vehicle seatbelt buckle is not resting on the child seat
frame. If the seat belt buckle lies across the frame of the child car seat, it will
be under pressure and may spring open in an impact. Only seatbelt webbing
should be in contact with the frame of the child car seat.
