1.Introduction
The POE Receiver, integrating Power over Ethernet into the design, features wireless radio
and input/output connections. The POE Received can be applied to capture wireless RF
signal in the air and report these signals to the connected Servia via IP reporting. In addition,
the built-in I/O terminals can be further programmed to act on certain triggers.

2.Installation Guide
2.1 Hardware Installation
Step 1. Choose a suitable location for the Receiver. The Receiver requires Ethernet with
POE capability to operate
Step 2. Find the wall mounting bracket provided, use the holes on the bracket to mark
mounting location on the wall.
Step 3. Drill holes into marked location and insert wall plugs if required, screw the bracket
onto mounting location.
Step 4. Connect the input and output devices to Receiver’s input / output terminal.
Step 5. Plug in the Ethernet cable into Ethernet port to power up the Receiver.
Step 6. Hook the POE Receiver onto the mounting bracket.
2.2 Software Installation
The POE Receiver can be setup via LAN connection. Aspecial “Finder”software is provided
for identifying the Receiver on local network. Insert the installation CD into the CD-ROM
drive, locate the “Finder 1.x.exe”file, execute the file to install Finder software.

3.System Configuration
3.1. Finder Software
Use the Finder Software to connect to panel for programming.
Step 1. Execute the Finder software, it will search the local network and display POE
Receiver LAN IP automatically if the receiver is located. If no Receiver information
is displayed, check Receiver power and Ethernet and click “Search”to refresh
search result.
The Receiver’s network information can be programmed manually by selecting the
Receiver and clicking “Configure Setting”.
For name and password, enter admin / admin1234. Configure the network setting
and click OK to confirm when finished.

4
Step 2. Double click the Receiver info to open the browser and connect to Receiver
webpage. You will be required to enter a username and password.
Default Username: admin
Default Password: admin1234
Step 3. Upon entering correct username and password, you will enter the Receiver’s
Welcome webpage:
The Welcome Page displays
Firmware revision: The firmware version of the Control Panel
MAC address: The MAC address of your Control Panel
Click on the top column selections to enter different webpages for function selection.

3.2. System
Click on the “System”selection for Time zone and Date / Time settings, and configuration
backup.
Time zone:
A number of time zones are available to be selected. Press the “Change Timezone”
button to confirm time zone change.
Date & Time:
Adjust the Date and Time to the local time by clicking on the selection buttons. Press
the “Adjust Time”button to confirm Date and Time changes.

Click Backup configuration by saving as file to download current panel
configuration as a .bin file into your computer.
To apply a previously downloaded configuration setting to current panel, click
“Choose File”, select the .bin file in your computer and click “Restore”to apply
setting to panel.

3.3. RF Sniffer
RF Sniffer: RF Sniffer is designed for the Receiver to report to programmed destination
when it receives a signal from an RF device.
Sniffer Report Destination: Enter a report destination, 3 Report Indexes are available for
setting. If there are multiple Report Indexes programmed:
The POE Receiver will report according to the order (e.g. 1 > 2 > 3, etc.) of the
Report Indexes. Report will stop when one report is successful.
If all reporting failed at the first cycle, the POE Receiver will wait for 5 seconds to
retry reporting to all Report Indexes again. A total of 6 retries will be done (or until
one of the reports is successful). If all the retries fail, the POE Receiver will regard
reporting unsuccessful. From the example above, suppose all report failed, the
report sequence would be:
If 1 reporting destination is programmed:
1 > wait for 5 seconds > 1 > wait for 5 seconds > 1 > wait for 5 seconds >
1 > wait for 5 seconds > 1 > wait for 5 seconds > 1 > Stop reporting whether
succeeded or not
If 2 reporting destinations are programmed:
1 > 2 > wait for 5 seconds > 1 > 2 > wait for 5 seconds >
1 > 2 > Stop reporting whether succeeded or not

8
If 3 reporting destinations are programmed:
1 > 2 > 3 > pause for 5 seconds 1 > 2 > 3 > Stops reporting whether succeeded or
not
When the Receiver is making report, the RF Sniffer Red LED will turn ON.
When turned ON. The Receiver will report every signal received. Enter the report
destination in following format: Account@server:port.
When turned OFF. The Receiver will not report any signal received.
Auto Check-in: This is for you to set the interval time the Control Panel waits before making a
regular check-in report.
Interval: Set the interval waiting time.
Offset Period: This is to set the time delay before the first “Auto Check-in Report” report
to be made. For example, if “Offset” time period is set to 60 minutes, then the Control
Panel will make the first “Auto Check-in Report” report after 60 minutes.
RF Attenuation: RF Attenuation is used to adjust the Receiver’s RF receiving range by
changing attenuation setting to adjust RF receiver sensitivity.
After finish all settings, click “Submit”to confirm.
3.4. SR Program
The Simple Remote Program setting page provides configuration for server connection to
perform remote programming via the server.
SRP: Choose to turn ON or OFF the remote programming function.
SRP Server URL: Enter the server connection setting in format of server:port.
After finish all settings, click “Submit”to confirm.
