Safety
Warning: Hot surfaces
• Theproduct can become very hot during use and cause burns. Special care must be taken if
theproduct is used in thesame room as young children, aged or infirm persons.
• Boiling oil can cause severe burns. Do not touch hot surfaces such as thefondue pot and
thehotplate.
• Boiling oil can splash and cause severe burns. Keep your hands and face well away from
thetop of thefondue pot.
• Do not use utensils other than theincluded forks or appropriate metal utensils in thefondue pot.
• Never put fingers or plastic utensils into thehot fondue pot.
• Theproduct must only be connected to astandard domestic 220–240V, 50/60Hz electrical
supply.
• Theproduct is only intended for normal domestic use as described in this instruction manual
and in similar environments such as canteens, offices, and hotels.
• This appliance shall not be used by children from 0 year to 8 years. This appliance can be
used by children aged from 8 years and above if they are continuously supervised. This
appliance can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of theappliance in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Theproduct should be placed on afirm, level, heatproof surface capable of supporting its weight.
• Place theproduct where there is no risk of people tripping over its mains lead.
• Make sure that theproduct is not close to any flammable materials or objects.
• Never immerse theproduct, themains lead or plug in water or other liquid.
• Never move theproduct when it is hot or contains hot food. Let theproduct cool completely
before moving it.
• Keep children under supervision when theproduct is being used.
• Never use theproduct if it, themains lead or plug is damaged or malfunctioning.
• Never attempt to modify theproduct in any way.
• Do not use any accessories other than those provided with theproduct.

• Never place theproduct or its mains lead onto or close to hot surfaces such as cooker hobs.

• If themains lead is damaged in any way it must be replaced by aqualified electrician.
• Theproduct should never be connected using anon/off timer or other equipment which can
automatically switch theappliance on.
• Theproduct should not be taken apart or modified. Certain unshielded components inside
thecasing carry dangerous voltages. Contact with these can lead to fire or anelectric shock.
• Repairs and service should only be performed by qualified tradesmen, and only with original
spare parts.

Instructions for use
Wash all parts of thefondue set except thehotplate unit before initial use. Wipe thehotplate
clean with adamp cloth and make sure that it is completely dry before plugging it in.
1. Place theelectric fondue set on afirm, heat resistant surface where it is stable and position
thepot where there is minimum risk of someone catching on thehandles and spilling hot food.
2. Add theoil/stock/cheese to thefondue pot. Note: Never let thecontents of thepot exceed
2 litres.
3. Plug theelectric hotplate in and turn thetemperature knob to anappropriate setting.
When theset temperature has been reached thehotplate will stop heating. Thebuilt-in
thermostat will keep thetemperature at theset level. Themaximum temperature is 175 °C.
4. Caution: Steam may be released from thefondue pot during cooking. Avoid contact with
thesteam as it is hot and could cause burns.
5. Keep aneye on thecontents of thepot and stir if necessary, do not allow thefood to boil.
6. When making cheese or chocolate fondue, use theforks to dip thepieces of food into
themelted cheese or chocolate.
7. When making meat fondue, skewer apiece of meat onto theend of thefork, place thefork
rest onto thepot and rest thefork on thefork rest while themeat is cooking.
Some cooking tips
Cheese fondue
Set thetemperature to max and stir continuously while thecheese it melting. Once thecheese
has melted, thetemperature should be lowered to asetting which just keeps thecheese hot.
Chocolate fondue
Oil (vegetable), must be added. You cannot use chocolate alone.
Add 2 tablespoonfuls of oil for every 350ml chocolate. Turn thepot to thehighest temperature and
stir theoil and chocolate mixture continuously until it is well blended. For athinner consistency, add
more oil, atablespoon at atime until thedesired consistency is reached. Once thechocolate has
melted, turn thetemperature down to alow temperature and make sure that thechocolate does
not boil or stick to thepot.
Oil/Stock
• Fill to no higher than themax mark on theinside of thepot.
• Use only vegetable oil. Theoil should be changed regularly. Do not use thesame oil more
than 4 times.
• Used oil smells bad and is often cloudy and dark.
• When changing theoil, empty out all of theold oil and wash thepot thoroughly. Make sure
that thepot is completely dry before pouring new oil into it.
• All food should be completely thawed and cut into small pieces before it is cooked.

Warning:
• Make sure that no water is added to thefondue pot when it contains hot oil.
Doing so will cause theoil to splatter and create aburn hazard.
• Do not use theelectric fondue set outdoors.
• Never leave theoil in thepot after use. Never leave afondue pot full of oil outside to cool
overnight. Condensation can be created and add water to theoil.
• If theoil should catch fire, unplug thehotplate immediately and cover thefondue pot to
smother thefire.
Care and maintenance
• Always unplug thelead from thepower point and let thefondue set cool down before cleaning it.
• Note: Do not put any of theparts in adishwasher. Handwash only. Never immerse
thehotplate in water or other liquid.
• Unplug theelectric fondue set and store it in adry dust-free place out of children’s reach.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with general
household waste. This applies throughout theentire EU. In order to prevent any
harm to theenvironment or health hazards caused by incorrect waste disposal,
theproduct must be handed in for recycling so that thematerial can be disposed
of in aresponsible manner. When recycling your product, take it to your local
collection facility or contact theplace of purchase. They will ensure that theproduct
is disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.

Användning
Diska alla delar utom värmeplattan noggrant före första användning. Torka av värmeplattan med
enfuktig trasa och se till att den är helt torr innan du ansluter stickproppen till ettvägguttag.
1. Placera den elektriska fonduen på enstabil och värmetålig yta där den står stadigt och
vrid grytan så att risken för att någon ska fastna ihandtagen och spilla ut heta matvaror
minimeras.
2. Lägg eller häll oljan/buljongen/osten ifonduegrytan. Obs! Fyll aldrig mer än max 2 l.
3. Anslut stickproppen till ettvägguttag och vrid upp vredet för temperaturinställning till lämplig
nivå. När önskad temperatur uppnåtts slår värmen ifrån. Den inbyggda termostaten håller
sedan temperaturen på inställd nivå. Max temperatur är ca 175 °C.
4. Varning! Het ånga kan stiga upp ur fonduegrytan, undvik kontakt med ångan.
Risk för brännskada.
5. Övervaka tillagningen och rör om vid behov, låt inte matvarorna koka.
6. Om du gör ost eller choklad fondue, använd gafflarna för att doppa matvarorna iden smälta
osten eller chokladen.
7. Om du gör köttfondue, sätt köttbiten på gaffeln, lägg gaffelstödet på grytan och placera
gaffeln mot stödet medans köttet tillagas.
Några tips
Ostfondue
Ställ vredet för temperaturinställning på max och rör om under tillagningen. När osten smält kan
du vrida ner temperaturen så att osten hålls varm.
Chokladfondue
Olja (vegetabilisk), måste tillsättas. Du kan inte använda enbart choklad.
Tillsätt 2 matskedar olja till varje 3,5 dl choklad. Ställ vredet för temperaturinställning på max och
rör om under tillagningen så att oljan och chokladen blandas ordentligt. Om du vill ha tunnare
konsistens på chokladen tillsätter du 1 matsked itaget tills önskad konsistens uppnås. Vrid ner
värmen när chokladen smält och se till att det inte kokar eller bränns fast.
Olja/Buljong
• Fyll endast till maxmarkeringen på fonduegrytans insida.
• Använd endast ren vegetabilisk olja. Oljan bör bytas ofta. Använd samma olja max 3−4 gånger.
• Förbrukad olja luktar illa, kan bilda bubblor, är ofta grumligt och mörk.
• Byt ut all olja när du byter och diska ur grytan ordentligt. Försäkra dig om att grytan är helt
torr innan du häller iny olja.
• Låt alla matvaror tina helt innan de tillagas och skär dem imindre bitar.

Varning!
• Se till att inget vatten kommer ner igrytan när olja används. Risk för brännskada.
• Använd inte den elektriska fonduen utomhus.
• Låt aldrig olja vara kvar igrytan efter användning. Ställ aldrig ut grytan utomhus med olja
it.ex. över natten. Kondens kan bildas vilket kan leda till att vatten tillförs oljan.
• Om oljan skulle börja brinna, dra omedelbart ut stickproppen ur vägguttaget och sätt ettlock
på grytan för att kväva elden.
Skötsel och underhåll
• Dra alltid ut stickproppen ur vägguttaget och låt fonduen svalna innan rengöring.
• Obs! Inga delar kan diskas imaskin, endast handdisk. Sänk aldrig ner värmeplattan ivatten
eller annan vätska.
• Dra ut stickproppen och förvara den elektriska fonduen torrt och dammfritt utom räckhåll för barn.
Avfallshantering
Denna symbol innebär att produkten inte får kastas tillsammans med annat hushålls-
avfall. Detta gäller inom hela EU. För att förebygga eventuell skada på miljö och
hälsa, orsakad av felaktig avfallshantering,ska produkten lämnas till återvinning
så att materialet kan tas omhand på ettansvarsfullt sätt. När du lämnar produkten
till återvinning, använd dig av de returhanteringssystem som finns där du befinner
dig eller kontakta inköpsstället. De kan se till att produkten tas om hand på ettför
