Montage und erste Inbetriebnahme dieser Funkfern-
bedienung dürfen nur durch einen anerkannten
Fachhandwerksbetrieb erfolgen, der dabei für die
Beachtung der bestehenden Normen und Installations-
vorschriften voll verantwortlich ist. Wir übernehmen
keine Haftung für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung
dieser Anleitung entstehen. Lesen Sie diese Anleitung
komplett durch, bevor Sie die Funkfernbedienung in
Betrieb nehmen.
Die Bedienung am Gerät und an der Funkfern-
bedienung sind gleichberechtigt. Die zuletzt einge-
stellte Temperatur wird vom Durchlauferhitzer ange-
wendet. Stellen Sie sicher, dass nicht ungewollt eine
zu hohe Temperatur gewählt wird. Wir empfehlen die
Funktion der Temperaturbegrenzung (siehe Anleitung
Durchlauferhitzer) zu aktivieren.
Leere Batterien können auslaufen und die Funk-
fernbedienung beschädigen. Daher sind die Batterien
bei aufleuchtendem Batteriesymbol im Display oder
fehlender Reaktion auf Tastendruck sofort zu ersetzen.
Bei längerer Nichtbenutzung der Funkfernbedienung
This remote control may only be installed and started
up for the first time by an authorized specialized com-
pany. Responsibility for compliance with the applicable
standards and installation regulations rests entirely
on the company installing the appliance. We cannot
accept any liability for damage and losses due to non-
compliance with these instructions. Read this manual
completely before starting up the remote control.
The handling of the appliance and the remote control
are equitable. The last set temperature will be used by
the instantaneous water heater. Make sure not to set
a high temperature, inadvertently. We recommend to
activate the temperature limit function (see manual of
the instantaneous water heater).
Flat batteries can leak and damage the remote control.
Hence, replace flat batteries right away as soon as
battery symbol lights up in the display or the remote
control does not response after keystroke.
When the remote control is not to be used in the long
term, remove the batteries.
Do not expose the remote control to moisture.

The remote control and the wall bracket should not
get close to items with magnetic strips, like credit
cards etc. The built in magnets can damage the card’s
magnetic strip.

Die Funkfernbedienung FX gestattet die komfortable
Bedienung der Durchlauferhitzer CEX, DEX und DSX
auch dann, wenn der Durchlauferhitzer unter einem
Waschtisch oder im Nebenraum installiert ist. Eine
energieeffiziente und bedarfsgerechte Wahl der
Wassertemperatur ist mit der Funkfernbedienung FX
auch unter diesen Bedingungen weiterhin möglich.
Die Kommunikation zwischen Funkfernbedienung
und Durchlauferhitzer findet bidirektional statt. Durch
diese Technologie ist eine sichere Datenübermittlung
auch unter schwierigen Installationsbedingungen
sichergestellt.
Diese Funkfernbedienung ist zu allen CEX-Durchlauf-
erhitzern kompatibel.
Diese Funkfernbedienung ist ebenfalls zu DEX- und
DSX-Durchlauferhitzern kompatibel, die ab August
2012 (ab Seriennummer 512213-xxxxxx) hergestellt
wurden.
The FX remote control allows a convenient operation
of the instantaneous water heaters CEX, DEX and DSX
even if the heater is installed under a sink or in a sec-
ondary room. An energy-efficient and adequate choice
of the water temperature is furthermore possible
under these conditions with the FX remote control.
The communication between the remote control and
the instantaneous water heater is bi-directional. Due
to this technology the data transfer is secured even
under difficult installation conditions.
This remote control is compatible to all CEX instante-
neous water heaters.
This remote control is also compatible to DEX and
DSX instanteneous water heaters, which have been
manufactured after August 2012 (serial numbers as of
512213-xxxxxx).

5.1 Wandhalter montieren
t Prüfen Sie vor der Montage des Wandhalters,
ob die Funkfernbedienung an der vor-
gesehenen Position Funkkontakt zum
Durchlauferhitzer aufnehmen kann.
t Der Wandhalter der Funkfernbedienung kann wahl-
weise mit den beiden Klebestreifen nach Abziehen
der Schutzfolien auf eine feste Unterlage (z.B.
Fliese) geklebt werden (Abb. 1) oder mit geeigne-
ten Dübeln (Ø 4mm) und Schrauben an der Wand
montiert werden (Abb. 2).
t Bei Verwendung der Klebestreifen ist nach dem
Andrücken keine Positionskorrektur mehr mög-
lich, da der Kleber eine sehr hohe Klebkraft
besitzt. Achten Sie daher auf eine waagerechte
Ausrichtung beim Aufkleben.
t Die Funkfernbedienung wird magnetisch am
Wandhalter gehalten.
5.1 Mounting the wall bracket
t Before attaching the wall bracket to the wall,
ensure that the remote control has radio con-
tact to the instantaneous water heater from
its designated position.
t The wall bracket of the remote control can either
be attached securely with the included adhesive
tape, after stripping off the protection film (as
shown in the fig. 1) on a plain surface (e.g. a tile)
or with suitable dowels (Ø 4mm) and screws (as
shown in the fig. 2).
t When using the adhesive tape it is not possible
to adjust the position afterwards because of the
strong adherence of the glue. Therefore, pay atten-
tion to a horizontal alignment when attaching it.
t The remote control is magnetically retained at the
wall bracket.
