Overview of infrared receiver
General description
The infrared receiver (WTC-IS) is
compatible only with the infrared remote
control(WTC-IR)andfancoilunitstted
with the Water Terminal Controller.
■The receiver shall be mounted on the wall.
■Direct sun on the receiver may interfere
with good signal reception.
■When the command has been sent to the
controller,theredLEDashesandthe
beep indicates that the signal has been
received (only if the beep function is
enabled).
The beep function can be congured only via
the Network Communication interface. Please
refer to the Network Communication guide
for more information on how to enable/
disable the beep notication.
IMPORTANT: All information regarding infrared
remote conguration and installation tests is
already provided in the Installation Instructions
for the infrared remote control (WTC-IR).
The infrared receiver (WTC-IS) is connected
to the network via a single RJ-45 cable.
It can be daisy chained using a subnet
adapter.

WIRING
■The infrared receiver can be freely
combinedinadaisychainconguration
(Subnet Adapter is required to establish
a pass-through connection).
■Cable length between the infrared
receiver and the fan coil should not
exceed 30 m.
■When connecting cables, RJ45 female to
RJ45 female coupler shall be used.

IMPORTANT: toutes les informations

conguration de la télécommande à infrarouge
sont déjà fournies dans les instructions
d'installation de la télécommande à infrarouge
(WTC-IR).
Le récepteur à infrarouge (WTC-IS) est
connecté au réseau via un câble RJ-45
unique. Il peut être raccordé en chaîne à
l'aide d'un adaptateur de sous-réseau.

Vue d'ensemble du récepteur à
infrarouge
Description générale
Le récepteur à infrarouge (WTC-IR) est
uniquement compatible avec la télécommande à
infrarouge (WTC-IS) et les unités de ventilo-
convecteur installées avec le régulateur du
terminal eau.
■ Lerécepteurdoitêtrexéaumur.
■Une exposition directe du récepteur aux
rayons du soleil risque de nuire à la bonne
réception du signal.
■Lorsque la commande a été envoyée au
régulateur, le voyant rouge clignote et un bip
indique que le signal a été reçu (uniquement
si la fonction de bip est activée).
La fonction de bip peut être congurée
uniquement via l'interface de communication
réseau. Veuillez consulter le guide de
communication réseau pour savoir comment
activer/désactiver la notication par bip.

Der Infrarot-Empfänger im Überblick
Allgemeine Beschreibung
Der Infrarot-Empfänger (WTC-IS) ist nur
mit der Infrarot-Fernbedienung (WTC-IR)
und Ventilator-Konvektoren kompatibel, die
mit einem WTC Steuergerät ausgerüstet sind.
■Der Empfänger muss an der Wand
installiert werden.
■Wenn der Empfänger direkter
Sonnenstrahlung ausgesetzt ist, kann dies
dem Signalempfang beeinträchtigen.
■Wenn an das Steuergerät ein Befehl
übermittelt wurde, blinkt die rote LED
und ein kurzes Lautsignal bestätigt den
Empfang des Signals (nur wenn das
akustische Signal aktiviert ist).
Die akustische Signalfunktion kann über die
Netzwerks-Kommunikationsschnittstelle
konguriert werden. Näheres zur Aktivierung/
Deaktivierung der akustischen Signalfunktion
ist der Netzwerkkommunikationsanleitung zu
entnehmen.
WICHTIG: Alle Informationen zu den Tests der
Konguration und Installation nden sich in der
Installationsanleitung der Infrarot-Fernsteuerung
(WTC-IR).
Der Infrarot-Empfänger (WTC-IS) ist über
ein einzelnes RJ-45-Kabel mit dem
Netzwerk verbunden. Mit einem
Subnetzadapter kann er problemlos
verkettet werden.

ANSCHLÜSSE
■Der Infrarot-Empfänger kann in Daisy-
Chain-Kongurationenbeliebig
kombiniert werden (für die
Durchgangsverbindung ist ein Subnetz-
Adapter erforderlich).
■Die Kabelverbindung zwischen Infrarot-
Empfänger und Ventilator-Konvektor
sollte nicht länger als 30 m sein.
■Für die Verbindung von Kabeln sollten
RJ45-Stecker und -Buchsen verwendet
werden.
