Recommended building materials
Important
A bioethanol replace creates a solution for situations where the ambience of a real re is desired but no chimney is
available or possible to install.
All our manual bioethanol burners are equipped with a ceramic cotton lling that absorbs liquid and makes sure that
any lled bioethanol can not be spilt out of the burner again if tipped over.
When burning bioethanol CO2 (Carbon dioxide) is created. In large quantities, CO2 can be a health risk and you
should therefore pay attention to the minimum room size requirements for the different burners. See more about this
on the following pages.
When building your surroundings for a bioethanol replace, we recommend using the following building materials or
similar heat- and re-resistant materials for any part of the construction that is in direct contact with the burner or is
exposed to the ames:

Products that are reported as passing ASTME E 136, Standard Test Method for Behavior of Materials in a Vertical

Cutout instructions
The burners are equipped with a lip around the top of the replace. When the burner is installed in your replace this
lip is used to keep the burner in place and not fall through the cutout.
The cutout dimensions you need to make in the bottom of your surround needs to be larger than the cutout
dimensions - but smaller than the lip size.
For the burner to sit completely ush with the bottom of the replace you can choose to mill out a small recess
matching the size of the lip.
Instruction for building in a bioethanol burner
• The recess and surroundings should be made of a re-resistant material.
• Keep a safety distance of 1000mm (1 meter) to ammable materials around the ame.
• Keep an open space above the burner of minimum 400 mm – recommended 500 mm (Size A in the illustra-
tions).
• If a television is placed directly above the burner, please follow the instructions in the following illustrations.
• Always ask your TV supplier whether your TV is suitable for hanging above a replace.

Using a built-in prole
For some burner models, we offer a built-in prole that can be used when installing the burner on a ammable
surface. The built-in prole is made of a 3 mm thick steel plate and makes sure that there is no direct contact
between the bioethanol burner and the surrounding.
The built-in prole is available for the following burners:
• BIO316 - Superior Manual Burner 45 cm
• BIO324 - Superior Manual Burner 60 cm
• BIO317 - Superior Manual Burner 80 cm
• BIO322 - Superior Manual Burner 100 cm
The opening underneath the built-in prole needs to be a minimum of 5 mm smaller than the size of the prole plate.
Ideally, the built-in prole is to be milled into the top panel of your design to make a seamless and ush nish. If
desired, this can be glued with heat-resistant adhesive.
Remember to keep enough distance around the built-in prole to avoid that heat from the burner will damage any
surroundings.

Wichtig
Ein Bioethanol Kamin kann die Lösung sein, wenn Sie die gemütliche Atmosphäre eines echten Feuers wünschen,
aber keine Möglichkeit haben, einen Schornstein zu bauen oder anzuschließen.
Bei der Verbrennung von Bioethanol entsteht CO2 (Kohlendioxid). In großen Mengen kann CO2 gesundheitss-
chädlich sein, daher sollten Sie die Anforderungen an die Mindestraumgröße für die verschiedenen Brenner
beachten. Mehr dazu auf den folgenden Seiten.
Alle unsere manuellen Bioethanol Brenner sind mit einem Keramikschwamm ausgestattet, der die Flüssigkeit aufn-
immt und dafür sorgt, dass das Bioethanol bei einem Umkippen im Brenner verbleibt.
Beim Bau Ihrer Umgebung für Ihren Bioethanol Kamin empfehlen wir die Verwendung der folgenden Baumaterialien
oder ähnlicher hitze- und feuerbeständiger Materialien für alle Teile der Konstruktion, die in direktem Kontakt mit
dem Brenner stehen oder den Flammen ausgesetzt sind:

Schnitzanleitung
Die Brenner sind oben am Brenner mit einem Rand ausgestattet. Sobald der Brenner in Ihrem Kamin installiert ist,
wird dieser Rand verwendet, um sicherzustellen, dass der Brenner nicht durch den Ausschnitt fällt.
Die Ausschnittmaße, die Sie an der Boden Ihres Kaminrahmens ausschnitten müssen, müssen größer als die
Loch-Maße sein - aber kleiner als die Rand-Maße sein.
Wenn Sie möchten, dass der Brenner auf der gleichen Höhe wie der Boden des Kamins ist, können Sie vorteilhafter-
weise einen kleinen Ausschnitt fräsen, die der Größe und Dicke des Randes entspricht.
Anleitung zum Einbau von Brennern
• Loch und Umgebung (der Kaminrahmen) sollten aus feuerfesten Materialien bestehen.
• Halten Sie einen Sicherheitsabstand von 1000 mm (1 Meter) zu brennbaren Materialien ein.
• Halten Sie über dem Brenner einen Bereich von mindestens 400 mm frei - empfohlen 500 mm. (Größe A in den
Abbildungen)
• Wenn sich über dem Kamin ein Fernseher bendet, befolgen Sie bitte die Anweisungen in den folgenden
Abbildungen.
• Fragen Sie immer Ihren TV-Anbieter, ob Ihr Fernseher zum Aufhängen über einem Kamin geeignet ist.
