BUFFALO agent or a recommended qualified technician in
order to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including

or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• BUFFALO recommends that this appliance should be

Induction Cooking
Induction cooking is a very efficient method of cooking as it reduces heat loss between the pan and the
atmosphere by as much as 40%. This makes it extremely energy efficient, as well as offering immediate
heat-up, unlike traditional heating methods which require time to get to temperature.
The Induction cooker works by creating a magnetic field within suitable cookware, which causes an
instant build-up of heat to cook the food.
Installation
Place the unit on a heat-resistant surface. Avoid placing it on or close to easy flammable materials.
Maintain a distance of 20cm (7 inches) between the appliance and walls or other objects for ventilation.

Cookware
Suitable cookware includes:
• All magnetic pans such as Vogue Stainless Steel or
Triwall pans
• Mild steel or plain steel (black iron) pans
• Enamelled/non-enamelled cast iron and iron pans
Unsuitable cookware includes:
• Cookware with a diameter of less than 12cm
• Ceramic or glass cookware
• Stainless steel, aluminium, bronze or copper
cookware unless marked as suitable for induction

Operation
1. Place suitable cookware onto the centre of the glass plate.
2. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply. The power indicator light flashes.
3. Press the on/off button . The power indicator light stops flashing and keeps on stably. The
appliance starts to heat with the default power level 5shown on the display.
4. Press the Select button to cycle between the Power and Temperature functions.
5. Press the Increase or Decrease button to change the level of each function.

NOTE: If unsuitable cookware or no cookware is present the induction cooker
will display ‘E0’, then switch off automatically.

• To use the timer press the timer button . The LCD display will switch to Timer and the Timer
indicator light will illuminate. Press the Increase or Decrease button to select the desired
cooking time (Range: 0 - 180 minutes).
• Pressing the on/off button during use will stop the operation immediately. But the fan will continue
to run for 1 minute to cool the appliance, then switch off automatically.
Energy saving function
If the appliance is switched on with inactivity for 2 hours, it will switch off automatically.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
Disconnect from the power supply and allow the appliance to cool before
cleaning.
• Use warm, soapy water and a damp cloth to clean
the appliance.
• DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or pads.
• Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
• A BUFFALO dealer or qualified technician should
carry out repairs if required.
• There is a removable air filter on the bottom of the
appliance. Pull it out of its slot and clean with a
vacuum cleaner.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin, moulded, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 13 amp fuse as standard.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

Veiligheidstips

Verpakkingsinhoud

BUFFALO is trots op de haar productkwaliteit en dienstverlening en controleert de inhoud van de
verpakkingen, tijdens de verpakkingsfase, op functionaliteit en schade. Mocht uw product door transport
beschadigd zijn, neem dan onmiddellijk contact op met uw BUFFALO-dealer.
Inductiekoken
Inductiekoken is een uiterst efficiënte kookmethode die het warmteverlies tussen de pan en de atmosfeer
maar met liefst 40% vermindert. Dit maakt inductiekoken uiterst energie-efficiënt en levert een direct
opwarmvermogen, anders dan bij traditionele verwarmingsmethoden die tijd nodig hebben om op
temperatuur te komen. De inductiekookplaat creëert een magnetisch veld in geschikte pannen en zorgt
zo voor een directe opbouw van hitte om het voedsel te koken.
Installatie
Plaats het apparaat op een hittebestendig oppervlak. Plaats het niet op of dichtbij licht ontvlambare
materialen. Behoud een afstand van 20cm (7 inches) tussen het apparaat en muren of andere
voorwerpen voor ventilatie.

Geschikte pannen zijn:

• Geëmailleerd/niet geëmailleerd gietijzeren en ijzeren

Ongeschikte pannen zijn:
• Pannen met een diameter kleiner dan 12 cm
• Keramische of glazen pannen
• Roestvrij stalen, aluminium, bronzen of koperen
pannen tenzij voorzien van het keurmerk voor
inductiekoken.
• Kookgerei met poten
• Kookgerei met een ronde bodem (bijv. een wok)

Werking
1. Plaats geschikt kookgerei op het midden van de glasplaat.
2. Sluit het apparaat aan op het elektriciteitsnet. Het aan / uit-lampje knippert.
3. Druk op de aan / uit knop . Het aan / uit-lampje stopt met knipperen en blijft stabiel staan. Het
apparaat begint op te warmen met het standaard vermogensniveau 5 dat op het display wordt
getoond.
4. Druk op de knop Selecteren om te schakelen tussen de Stroom- en Temperatuurfuncties.
5. Druk op de knop Verhogen of Verlagen om het niveau van elke functie te wijzigen.

Als er geen geschikt kookgerei of geen kookgerei aanwezig is, geeft de
inductiekookplaat ‘E0’ weer en schakelt vervolgens automatisch uit.

• Om de timer te gebruiken, drukt u op de timerknop . Het LCD-scherm schakelt naar Timer en
het Timer-indicatielampje gaat branden. Druk op de toetsen Verhoger of Verlager om het
gewenste kooktijdbereik te selecteren (bereik: 0 - 180 minuten).
• Als u tijdens gebruik op de aan / uitknop drukt, wordt de bewerking onmiddellijk gestopt. Maar
de ventilator blijft gedurende 1 minuut draaien om het apparaat in te schakelen en vervolgens
automatisch uit te schakelen.
Energiebesparende functie
Als het apparaat 2 uur lang niet wordt gebruikt, wordt het automatisch uitgeschakeld.
Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud
Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het toestel afkoelen voordat u begint
met schoonmaken.
• Gebruik voor de reiniging van het apparaat warm
zeepwater en een vochtige doek.
• GEEN schurende reinigers of schuursponzen
gebruiken.
• Na reiniging goed drogen.
• Eventuele reparaties moeten door een BUFFALO
vertegenwoordiger of een vaktechnicus worden
uitgevoerd.
• Er is een verwijderbaar luchtfilter aan de onderkant
van het apparaat. Trek het uit zijn gleuf en maak
het schoon met de stofzuiger. Verwijderbare luchtfilter
Oplossen van problemen
Indien er een storing aan uw BUFFALO apparaat optreedt, dient u de onderstaande tabel te raadplegen
voordat u de hulplijn belt.
