Safe use
The BlueSpot 18 Piece Polishing Kit includes large high quality buffing wheels, polishing
buffs, woollen mounted points and 6 bars of polishing compound.
The polishing kit is manufactured to give a smooth clean polish on a variety of materials. The
kit is used to reduce dirt and scratches on a painted surface. Once the surface is cleaned and
prepared a polish with this kit will restore the original shine.
The polishing kit works similar to a sanding kit which makes the surface smoother and
reduces the depth of the finish to the deepest scratch leaving it spotless.
A variety of compounds are provided in this kit ranging from coarse for very damaged
surfaces to fine polishes for delicate work. The set also includes many different tools for
different types of materials that are identified in the grid provided.
All buffing wheels and felt bobs are mounted on ¼” shanks that fit most common drill types.

Disposal
Always check and adhere to national regulations when disposing of any tools that are no
longer functional and cannot be repaired.
• Do not dispose of power tools with household waste.
• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on how to correctly dispose
of power tools.
3. Refer to the chart and select your chosen material with the polishing compound, starting
from the coarsest.
4. Coat the buff by lightly spinning it into the chosen compound, use it sparingly as only a
small amount is needed for excellent results.
5. Apply the coated buff to the surface to be polished without exceeding 3000rpm as this
will cause the compound to be ineffective.
6. Maintain a constant light pressure whilst leaving the compound and buff to do the work.
7. Continue polishing and applying more compound as required.
8.To remove the compounds after use, apply the drill and buff against a sharp metal edge
to remove any residue.
9. For the best results, use a different buff for each of the compounds to ensure no left
over residue is accidentally applied.
10. Repeat the process with the next finer compound in the chart shown.
11. Continue until the surface appears shiny with no visible marks.
12. Apply the finished compound to the loose single stitched buff and apply light pressure
to finish the job.
13. Wash the polished areas with warm soapy water to remove any leftover residue and
wipe clean with a cloth for a perfect shine.
