
•Remove all packaging and accessories. Inspect appliance to confirm it is in good condition.
•Do not turn the clock upside down; the chains and weights must always hang straight down.
•Hang clock at least 7 feet above the floor.
•Make sure clock hangs straight and flush against the wall.
•Clock chimes and cuckoo sings only on the hour (ranges from 1 to 12 chimes).
•Cuckoo sings a pair of sounds for each chime – a stronger sound followed by a weaker sound (similar
to an echo).
•Do the following to fix chime errors:
-Determine how many chimes are o.
-Press the chime button the amount of times it is o.
-For example, if the clock chimes four times at 6:00, it is two chimes o. To correct it, press the
chime button twice.
•Wipe down exterior with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt. If necessary, use a mild detergent.
•Do not clean with gasoline, benzine, thinner, or harsh cleaners.
•Replace batteries approximately once a year.
•For prolonged storage, remove batteries and store in a cool, dry place.
1. Slowly turn minute hand clockwise to rotate the hour hand to the correct position.
2. When the hour hand is correct, adjust the minute hand to the correct position. For accuracy, it is
recommended that the minute hand is set to an interval of 5.
NOTE: The cuckoo sings every hour, so when setting time wait for singing to stop before continuing to
set time.
1. Install two D batteries in the battery compartment.
2. Use hammer to install a nail (not included) on the wall at least 7 feet above the floor in your desired location.
3. Insert the nail into the hanging hole to hang the clock.
4. Turn wire sideways on door to allow it to open. Do not force the door closed; it will close automatically
after the cuckoo sings.
5. Hang the part A pendulum from the designated hole on the pendulum arm. Hang the part B weights
from the hooks on the chains.
