
2. Operation System and Driver
2.1 Operation System
The ASYNCH-1 is currently only fully compatible with the Microsoft Windows® operating system.
2.2 Drivers and installation
The ASYNCH-1 drivers support only the 2 channels PCM format. Once installed,
ASYNCH-1 will be the default device for PC audio digital output when ASYNCH-1 is
plugged in.
Install Windows® XP, Vista, W7, W8 drivers before use.
1. Download the correct driver for your Windows operating system from our website.

2. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the folder where you have downloaded the
zipped driver file to.
3. Unzip the downloaded file.(Use a program like Winzip etc. to unzip the file). This
will create a new folder with the same name as the downloaded zip file.
4. Open up the newly created unzipped folder.
5. Switch ON the ASYNCH-1 by moving the power switch to the upwards position if
you are not using an external power supply, OR
6. Switch ON the ASYNCH-1 by moving the power switch to the downwards position
if you are not using an external power supply
7. Plug in the USB port on the ASYNCH-1 into a USB port on your PC, using a USB A
to USB B cable. The RED power LED on the ASYNCH-1 should now be lit if you have
done everything correct so far.
8. Execute setup.exe from the folder in 3. The driver will now be installed.
9. After the driver has been installed, restart your PC.
Once Windows has booted up again, your ASYNCH-1 is ready for use.
