Before use
Insert the supplied batteries into the battery compartment.
i-Remote modes
You are provided with 2 control modes: TV mode and
Mouse mode.
When switched to TV mode, i-Remote works with a
BenQ TV exclusively.
• TV mode: works as an exclsive BenQ TV remote con-
trol.
• Mouse mode: works as a mouse on a smart TV box /
Android device. Insert the dongle into a smart TV box /
Android device to make sure it works properly.
Mode switch
Press the button and hold for 5 seconds to switch
mode between Mouse and TV.
• LED indicator blinks in green once when switched to
Mouse mode.
• LED indicator blinks in red once when switched to TV
mode, and blinks in red once afterward with any button
pressed.
• By default, the i-Remote is switched to Mouse mode.
• Store the dongle in the dongle storage compartment on the
battery cover of your i-Remote when not in use.

Battery replacement
The LED indicator on BenQ i-Remote ashes in red when
the battery power is running out, and stops ashing when
drained.
1. Flip over the i-Remote and slide the battery cover off as
illustrated.
2. Replace the old batteries with the new ones.Always
ensure that the batteries are inserted with the positive
and negative terminals in the correct direction as shown
in the battery compartment.

3. Slide the battery cover back.The i-Remote is ready to use
now.
• Different types of batteries have different characteristics. Do
not mix different types.
• Remove batteries from BenQ i-Remote if not using it for a
long time.
• There may be local restrictions on the disposal or recycling
of batteries. Consult your local regulations or waste disposal
provider.
• Do not throw the batteries into re as it may cause explo-
sion.
