Important Warnings
Before using your appliance read this instructions manual carefully and
keep it in a safe place as you may need to consult it in the future.
Before turning on your appliance, and to ensure a safe and correct
operation, do not use if:
• It has fallen to the ground;
• You notice any evidence of damage;
• Any anomaly occurs during its operation.
To avoid hazards or deterioration of your appliance through incorrect
use it is advisable to read these instructions thoroughly.

intended and solely for household use. Any damage resulting from
using the appliance outside this scope, any incorrect use, as well as
any manual modications to the product will not be covered and
automatically voids the warranty.

In case of malfunction, take your appliance to a qualied technician for
assistance.
This appliance can be used by children from the age of 8 and by
people with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capabilities and/or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given instructions
on using the appliance safely and if they understand the hazards
involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

1.1. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance
to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous.
To avoid re hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance
to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under
water (e.g. for cleaning).
1.2. Maintenance & Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch o the appliance and remove the plug
from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down before
cleaning.
To clean the exterior of the product use a dry soft cloth only.
• Clean the scale only with water, a mild soap and a soft cloth. Prevent
water from getting inside the scale.
• Do not immerse it in water. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents.
• When the scale is not used for a long time, please make sure you
remove the batteries.

• Please follow the instructions in the user manual which help to
properly install and operate this product and enjoy its advanced
features. Please keep the instructions for future reference.
• Read all instructions before using the product.
• Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried out by
authorized professionals.
• Any damage caused by manual modications to the product is not
covered by the warranty.
• This scale is designed for weighting Babies and Toddlers.
• Do not use it for commercial purpose.
• Place the scale on a hard and at surface.
• Do not press or put any object on the platform when not in use.
• Extreme electromagnetic conditions may adversely aect the
performance of the scale.
• Keep the scale at a safe distance from such equipment or turn o
the equipment when using the scale.
• Once the scale has interference, shut it o and turn it on again; the
scale can once again be used for its intended purpose.

Weighing
• Insert batteries, three (3) AA batteries required.
• Press ON/OFF button to turn the power on, all digits will show on
the LCD for 5 secs., then “0”g will be shown. The scale is ready for
weighting. Keep pressing ON/OFF for 3 seconds to turn o the scale.
• Before weighting, select the mode switch - Baby/Toddler (mode
switch is on the opposite side of the LCD panel).
• Before weighting, select weighting unit - g/lb (weighting unit button
is on the opposite of the LCD panel).

Baby Mode
• If you choose the Baby mode, the word “Baby” will show on the LCD
panel, at the top right corner.
• If you choose the Baby mode, please place the scale tray on the scale.
• Press ON/OFF/TARE button to turn the power on, all digits will show
on the LCD for 5 seconds, then “0”g will be shown. The scale is ready
for weighing.
• Carefully place the Baby/Toddler on the scale. The weight value will
ash 3 times and then stop.
• Keep pressing ON/OFF/TARE button for 3 seconds to turn o the
scale. Otherwise, the power will be shut o automatically within
30 seconds if the LCD=0 and within 20 seconds if the LCD≠0.

Toddler Mode
• If you choose the “Toddler” mode, press ON/OFF/TARE button to
turn on the power. All digits will show on the LCD for 5 seconds,
then “0”g will be shown. The scale is ready for weighing.
• Carefully place the Baby/Toddler on the scale. The weight value
will show. Remove the Baby/Toddler from the scale. The value will
automatically calibrate to “0”g and the scale will be ready for another
weighing.
• Keep pressing ON/OFF/TARE button for 3 seconds to turn o the
scale. Otherwise, the power will be shut o automatically within 4
minutes if the LCD=0 and within 8 minutes if the LCD≠0.
TARE Weight Function
“TARE Weight” function allows you to weight several objects separately
in the same container. Please check operation procedure below:
• Weight the rst object. Its weight will be displayed as mentioned above.
• Press ‘TARE” button, the display will be reset to zero.
• Add the next object. Please note that only the weight of the second
object will be displayed.
• Repeat the procedure for all remaining objects.
Notice:
• Under “TARE Weight” function, the total weight cannot exceed
the capacity of the scale.
• If objects are taken out after setting the “TARE” mode, the LCD
will show the weight of the removed objects (in minus). Press
‘TARE” button to reset to zero.

Zero Calibration
When the scale is turned on the display cannot return to 0g when the
object is picked up from the tray. Press ON/OFF TARE button to reset
to zero.
