1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important Warnings
Before using your appliance read this instructions manual carefully and keep it in a safe place as you may need
to consult it in the future.
Before turning on your appliance, and to ensure a safe and correct operation, do not use if:
• It has fallen to the ground;
• You notice any evidence of damage;
• Any anomaly occurs during its operation.
To avoid hazards or deterioration of your appliance through incorrect use it is advisable to read these
instructions thoroughly.
Your appliance may not be used for other purposes than the ones intended and solely for household use.
Any damage resulting from using the appliance outside this scope, any incorrect use, as well as any manual
modications to the product will not be covered and automatically voids the warranty.
Assistance
In case of malfunction, take your appliance to a qualied technician for assistance.
This appliance can be used by children from the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensorial or
mental capabilities and/or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given instructions on using
the appliance safely and if they understand the hazards involved. Children may not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance’s. If this is not the case please consult the
Customer Support Service.
1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep the cord away from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.
Take it to the Technical Support Service for replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance to become wet under any

1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch o the appliance and remove the plug from the main power supply. Always
allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
To clean the exterior of the product use a dry soft cloth only.
1.5. General Precautions
• Please follow the instructions in the user manual which help to properly install and operate this product and
enjoy its advanced features. Please keep the instructions for future reference.
• Read all instructions before using the product.
• Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried out by authorized professionals.
• Any damage caused by manual modications to the product is not covered by the warranty.
• If this product is used for other purposes than the ones originally intended, or if it is not correctly connected,
the product may become damaged and the warranty will be voided.
• The product is for household use only.
• Connect the appliance to a single phase AC supply with the voltage specied on the rating plate.
• Figure means “DO NOT COVER”.
• In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
• Never leave the heater unattended while it is in use. Always turn the product to the OFF position and
unplug it from the electrical outlet when not in use.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children, handicapped or elderly people
and whenever the heater is left unattended while it’s turned on.
• The heater must not be located immediately below an electrical socket outlet.
• Do not run the cord under carpeting and do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners or the like. Keep
the cord away from busy areas and where it will not cause anyone to trip over it.
• Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped
or damaged in any manner.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly
qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Avoid the use of an extension cord as this may overheat and increase the risk of re.
• Use the oil radiator in a well-ventilated area. Do not insert or allow objects to enter any ventilation or
exhaust opening. To prevent a possible re, do not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner. Do
not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked. Use the oil radiator on at, dry
surfaces only.

• Do not place this oil radiator near ammable materials, surfaces or substances, as this may pose a re
hazard. Keep the above ammable materials, surfaces or substances at least 1 m away from the front, sides
and back of the product.
• Do not use the oil radiator in any areas where petrol, paint or other ammable liquids are stored e.g. Garages
or workshops as a hot, arcing or sparking parts inside the oil radiator.
• Do not use this oil radiator in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool. Never
locate the oil radiator where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
• This oil radiator is hot when in use. To avoid burns and personal injury, do not directly make contact with it
with your bare skin. If provided, use handles when moving the product.
• Be sure that no other appliances are in use in the same electrical circuit as your product as an overload can
occur.
• This oil radiator is lled with a precise quantity of special oil.
• Repairs requires the oil container to be opened are only to be made by the manufacturer or his service
agent who should be contacted if there is an oil leak.
• Regulations concerning the disposal of oil when scrapping the appliance have to be followed.
• The oil radiator should not be used in a room with a oor area of less than 5 m2.
• The cord should not be placed near the hot surface of the appliance.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
• Children between the ages of 3 and 8 shall only switch the appliance on/o provided that it has been placed
or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children between
the ages of 3 and 8 shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
• CAUTION - Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be
paid if children and vulnerable people are present.

2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

The heater is packaged with the feet unattached. You must attach them before operating the oil radiator.
WARNING: Do not operate without feet attached. Operate the oil radiator only in the upright position
(feet on the ground, controls at the top), any other position could pose a hazard.
1. Place the body of the oil radiator upside-down on a scratch-free surface, make sure it is stable and will not
fall.
2. Unscrew the wing nuts from the U-shaped bolt provided, attach the U-shaped bolt to the U-facing ange
between the rst and second ns (near the front cover).

3. To attach the caster mounting plate to the oil radiator body, you should insert the threaded ends of the U
bolt in the holes on the caster mounting plate.
4. Screw the wing nuts back on the U bolt and fasten the wing nut properly.
Note: do not over tighten, which may cause damage to the oil radiator ange.
5. Screw o spherical nut from the caster, align the shaft to the hole of the caster mounting plate, insert it, and
screw on the spherical nut.
6. Repeat 2, 3, 4 and 5 on the rear of radiator to mount the rear casters.
Note: the rear casters must be mounted between the two end ns.
2.2. Maintenance
1. Always remove the plug from the socket outlet and allow the oil radiator to cool down before cleaning it.
2. Wipe the oil radiator with a soft damp (not wet) cloth.
WARNING:
Do not immerse the heater in water.
Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents and abrasives.
Do not allow the interior to get wet as this could create a hazard.
3. To store away the heater, wind the cable round the bobbin and store the oil radiator in a clean dry place.
4. In case of a malfunction or a suspected malfunction, do not try to repair the oil radiator yourself, it may result
in a re hazard or electric shock.

This product is CE marked to denote conformity with Directives 2006/95/EC (Low Voltage) and the EMC
directive (2004/108/EC), as amended.

3. POST-SALE SERVICE
BECKEN has designed this appliance in order to guarantee maximum reliability. However, if a problem occurs
do not attempt to open the appliance - there is a risk of electrical shock. If you are not able to solve the
problem, please contact the Costumer Support Service of any Worten, Modelo or Continente store in order to
be assisted. Worten Equipamentos para o Lar provides a 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects from the
date of purchase of the appliance.
WARNING: Any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the manufacturer or seller will void the
warranty.
All users must be familiar with these instructions. Knowing what could go wrong can help prevent problems
from occurring.
4. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
In order to protect the environment we strive to reduce the volume of packaging used, limiting it to three
easily sorted materials: cardboard, paper and plastic. The appliance is manufactured using recyclable materials
after disassembled by a specialized company. Please comply with local regulations concerning the recycling of
all materials.
