Using the Operator’s manual
The operating manual is an important part of your Heater and should
be read thoroughly before initial use, and referred to often to make sure
adequate safety and service concerns are being addressed.
Reading the owner’s manual thoroughly will help avoid any personal injury
or damage to your pump. By knowing how best to operate this machine
you will be better positioned to show others who may also operate the
unit.
You can refer back to the manual at any time to help troubleshoot any
specific operating functions, so store it with the machine at all times.

The safety alert symbol ( ) is used with a signal word (DANGER,

you to hazards.
DANGER indicates a hazard which, if not avoided, will result in
death or serious injury.
WARNING indicates a hazard which, if not avoided, could result in

CAUTION indicates a hazard which, if not avoided, might result in
minor or moderate injury.

WARNING
• Keep solid combustibles, such as building materials,
paper or cardboard, a safe distance away from the
heater as recommended by the instructions.
• Never use the heater in spaces which do or may
contain volatile or airborne combustibles, or products
such as gasoline, solvents, paint thinner, dust particles
or unknown chemicals.
• This heater is designed as a construction heater
in accordance with ANSI Z83.7/CSA 2.14.Other
standards govern the use of fuel gases and heating
products for specific uses. Your local authority can
advise you about these. The primary purpose of
construction heaters is to provide temporary heating
of buildings under construction, alteration, or repair.
Properly used, the heater provides safe economical
heating. Products of combustion are vented into the
area being heated.
WARNING
• Failure to comply with the precautions and instructions provided with
this heater, can result in death, serious bodily injury and property loss
or damage from hazards of fire, explosion, burn,asphyxiation, carbon
monoxide poisoning, and/or electrical shock.
• Only persons who can understand and follow the instructions should
use or service this heater.
• If you need assistance or heater information such as an instructions
manual, labels, etc. contact the manufacturer.
WARNING
For installation or operation on (or over) non-
combustible floors only.
Minimum clearance to adjacent combustible surface:
outlet: 8ft (2.4m), sides and back: 2ft(0.6m), top: 6ft
(1.8m).

WARNING
• Heater be installed such that it is not directly exposed to water spray,
rain and/or dripping water.
• Not for home or recreational vehicle use.
• Combustible by-products produced when using this product contain
carbon monoxide, a chemical known to the state of California to
cause cancer ,birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
• The hose assembly shall be protected from traffic, building material
and contact with hot surfaces both during use and while in storage.
• Plug electrical cord into a properly grounded three-prong receptacle.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Children should be kept away.
• Always maintain proper clearance from combustible materials. Minimum
clearance should be: sides -2Ft, top -6Ft front -8Ft.
• The heater must be located at least: (i) 6 ft. (1.83 m) in the U.S.; or (ii)
10 ft. (3 m) in Canada, from any propane gas container.
• Always keep cylinder in upright position to provide for vapor withdrawal.
• The gas must be turned off at the propane supply cylinder when the
heater is not in use.
• Heater must be placed on level and solid footing.
• Never place anything, including clothes or other flammable items on
heater.
• Do not modify heater, or operate a heater that has been modified.
• Adequate clearance for accessibility, combustion and ventilation (air
supply) must be maintained at all times when heater is operating.
• Service and repair should be performed by a qualified service person.
The heater should be inspected before each use, and at least annually
by a qualified person. More frequent cleaning may be required as nec-
essary. Do not service heater while hot or operating.
• Never connect heater to an unregulated gas supply.
• This heater is shipped from the factory for use with LP (propane) gas
only. Do not convert to any other gas, Installation must conform to local
codes, or in their absence, with the standard for the storage and Han-
dling of Liquefied Petroleum Gases ANSI/NFPA 58 and the Natural Gas
and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1.
• Use only the regulator and hose assembly provided with this heater.
Inspect the regulator/hose assembly prior to each use of the heater. If
there is excessive abrasion or wear, or if the hose is cut, replace it with
the proper assembly shown in the parts list, prior to using the heater.
• Gas supply connections should be checked by using a 50/50 soap and
water solution. Never use a flame to check for gas leaks.

• The heater discharge shall not be directed toward any gas cylinder
within 20 ft (6m).
• The electrical connection and grounding must comply with the National
Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70. Use only a properly grounded three (3)
prong receptacle.
• Do not restrict air inlet or outlet areas of the heater.
• Heater has to be installed such that it is not directly exposed to water
spray, rain and/or dripping water.
• Keep heater clean .Clean heater annually or as needed to remove dust
and debris. If heater is dirty or dusty, clean heater with a damp cloth.
Use household cleaners on difficult spots.
• Inspect heater before each use .Check connections for leaks. Apply
mixture of liquid soap and water to connections. Bubbles forming show
a leak .Correct all leaks at once.
• Inspect hose/regulator assembly before each use. If hose is highly worn
or cut, replace with hose specified by manufacturer.
• Will not be damaged or made unsafe by the operating or maintenance
method you choose. CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL FIRE SAFETY AU-
THORITY IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT APPLICATIONS.
This heater is designed and approved for use as a construction heater
under ANSI Z83.7/CSA 2.14-2014.
• Other standards govern the use of fuel gasses and heat producing
products in specific applications. Your Local authority can advise you of
these.
• This is a direct-fired, forced-air construction heater for either indoor or
outdoor use. It’s intended use is primarily for the temporary heating of
buildings under construction, alteration or repair. All of the products of
combustion generated by this heater are forced through the heater and
released into the area being heated. This heater operates at approxi-
mately 98﹪+combustion efficiency, but still produces small amounts
of carbon monoxide. Humans can tolerate small amounts of carbon
monoxide for short periods. Carbon monoxide can build up in a heated
space, and failure to provide adequate ventilation could result in poison-
ing or death.

Canada from the heater.
• Indoor use permitted only for the temporary heating of adequately
ventilated buildings or structures under construction, alteration or repair.
