About This Manual
This manual is provided to help you get the most out of your CM Adapter
Module with 60-pin and S-232 Control for UF200SA Server. It covers all
aspects of the device, including installation, configuration, and operation. An
overview of the information found in the manual is provided below.
Chapter 1, Introduction, introduces you to the CM Adapter Module with
60-pin and S-232 Control for UF200SA Server, its purpose, features, and
benefits, with its front and back panel components described.
Chapter 2, Hardware Setup, provides step-by-step instructions for setting
up the CM Adapter Module with 60-pin and S-232 Control for UF200SA
Server, and explains some of its basic operation procedures.
Appendi , provides the technical and troubleshooting information at the end
of the manual.

Overview
The CMA200SA, the industry’s first adapter module, is designed to work
with ATEN KA7174 and CM series multi-port products (such as CM816),
it can easily access UF300 and UF200SA from both local and remote consoles.
It also supports virtual keyboard for the convenience of installation and
application.

No. Component Description
60-pin output port Connects to an UF300 or UF200SA work station
via the supplied console cable.
2 power LED Lights green: The unit is receiving power.
Off: The unit is powered off.
3RS-232 serial port This RS-232 serial port is for connecting to a
serial terminal port on a KA7 74. This serial port
is designed to work with KA7 74 only.
4 60-pin input port Connects to an UF300 or UF200SA touch panel
and an UF300 or UF200SA keyboard via the
supplied console cable.
5 power jack Receives a power adapter to supply power to the
unit.
