• Always be cautious of potential hazards such as electrical wiring, slippery footing, damp or wet conditions, etc.
• ake sure you know what you are fastening — look for hidden hazards.
• Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas and benches invite accidents.
• Keep children away. All visitors should be kept a safe distance from work area.
• Store idle tools. When not in use, tools should be stored in high or locked-up place out of reach of children.
• Use safety glasses.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
• aintain tools with care. Follow instructions with care.
• For service, use only approved service centers.
• Use only original parts provided by the supplier.
• Stay alert — watch what you are doing. Use common sense.
• Do not staple into electrical wires. Be cautious of wires that may be hidden from view. Disconnect circuits.

LOADI G STAPLES A D AILS:
Hold staple gun upside down. Release magazine latch by
pushing up and pulling open as shown in fig 1.
Pull magazine open as shown in fig 2.
TO LOAD STAPLES… Insert strip of staples into magazine as
shown in fig 3.
TO LOAD NAILS… Insert strip of nails into magazine against
side of channel with staple viewing window as shown in fig 4.
Push magazine closed. With thumb push on magazine door
making sure magazine latch locks into place fig 5.
IMPORTANT Gun mu t NOT be loaded with taple and
nail at the ame time.

When staples are in middle of window there are approximately
15 staples still in the magazine fig 6.

HOW TO DETE MINE P OPE STAPLE LEG SIZE
In choosing the proper staple leg length for a job there are two basic things
to consider:
1. Thickness of material to be stapled.
2. Hardness of the wood.
As a general rule, in hardwood, approximately 3/16" to 1/4" penetration
into the wood is sufficient...and for softwood – up to approximately 3/8"
should be sufficient. However, if the staple used “stands away” from the
work – this means that too long a leg length has been used. In that case
we recommend the next shorter leg length for desired results.
STAPLE PENET ATION
The T50R.E.D.™ has a hi/low power setting to help drive staples and brad nails into hard and soft materials. For best penetration press
down on the front end with the palm of your hand to prevent recoil when operating.
AIL PE ETRATIO
The T50R.E.D.™ shoots a 5/8" (15mm), 3/4" (20mm) and 1" (25mm) brad nails. For best penetration, hold the gun flat against the surface.
Do not tilt or raise the gun.

with a dry cloth do not use harsh chemicals to clean your T50®.

CARGA DE GRAPAS Y CLAVOS:
Voltee la grapadora. Presione el cierre hacia arriba y tire de
él para abrirlo, tal como se indica en la figura 1.
Tire del cargador y extráigalo, tal como se indica en la
figura 2.
PARA CARGAR GRAPAS,introduzca una barra de grapas
en el cargador, tal como se ilustra en la figura 3.
PARA CARGAR CLAVOS,introduzca una barra de clavos
en el cargador, apoyándola contra el lado del canal en el que
se encuentra la ventana de control de grapas, tal como se
indica en la figura 4.
Empuje el cargador para cerrarlo. Presione la tapa del
cargador con el pulgar para asegurarse de que el cierre
enclave correctamente (figura 5).
IMPORTANTE: La grapadora/clavadora JAMÁS debe
cargar e con grapa y clavo al mi mo tiempo.

Cuando las grapas llegan hasta la mitad de la ventana, aún
quedan unas 15 en el cargador (figura 6).

CÓMO DETE MINA LA LONGITUD CO ECTA DE G APA
Dos factores básicos deben tenerse en cuenta al determinar la longitud correcta de la grapa
para un trabajo determinado:
1. El grosor del material que se va a engrapar.
2. La dureza de la madera.
Por lo general, en el caso de las maderas duras, basta con que la grapa penetre unos 5 a 6
mm (3/16” – 1/4”) en la pieza. En las maderas blandas, suele bastar una profundidad de
unos 10 mm (3/8"). Si la grapa sobresale de la pieza, esto significa que es demasiado larga.
En este caso, para obtener los resultados deseados, recomendamos usar una grapa más
corta (bajar al tamaño siguiente).
PENET ACIÓN DE LAS G APAS
La T50R.E.D.™ tiene un conmutador de potencia ‘alto/bajo’ para hincar las grapas y los clavos en materiales duros o blandos. Para lograr
una penetración óptima, conviene presionar sobre el extremo delantero de la herramienta con la palma de la mano, evitando así que salte al
trabajar.
PENET ACIÓN DE LOS CLAVOS
La T50R.E.D.™ dispara clavos de 15 mm (5/8"), 20 mm (3/4") y 25 mm (1"). La mejor penetración se obtiene sosteniendo la
clavadora/grapadora plana sobre la superficie. No incline ni levante la herramienta.

• N'agrafez pas les fils électriques. Soyez prudent des fils peuvent être cachés de la vue. Débranchez alors tous les circuits.
